Imagine enjoying wine at sunset, sitting around the firepit listening to waves crashing below or sipping your morning coffee, overlooking our gorgeous cove. Wildlife viewing is great! Romantic setting with fireplace, comfy bed, luxurious linens. Enhanced cleaning protocol. Private entry, located inside gated, oceanfront estate.

The space:
Light filled, spacious studio, charmingly decorated with a mix of contemporary, antiques & octopus whimsy. Perfect for a couple. King bed or 2 XL twin beds, your choice.
30 second walk to oceanfront viewing and beach stairs. Suite has private entry with treetop and garden views.

In the suite is our detailed notebook for our guests featuring our favorite local restaurants and specialties, best hiking trails, suggestions for full and half day adventures and other fun activities. Feel free to use the beach towels and chairs provided for your day adventures.
After a busy day exploring the coast, you'll love returning to OCTOPUS SUITE to relax by the fireplace and 50" TV. Full kitchen, waterfall shower head, tub; gorgeous tree-filled garden views and glimpses of glorious sunrises.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely weekend staying in the whimsical, cozy apartment! The hostess Karen was so sweet and nice to speak with as we soaked in the view of the cove their house overlooks on the Pacific:)The apartment is very well stocked with everything you could ask for including some very nice treats. Karen was a very welcoming host. She met all are needs and gave us wonderful background stories and advice about the surrounding Brookings area. In the short time we were here visiting the area, she continued to make us feel like family. The Octopus suite met all our needs and then some. Lovely, great location, wonderful escape
Clearly the owners take great care and pride in their property, maintaining a cozy, comfortable and cleverly apportioned space that's just steps from a commanding view of the Pacific and an active yet inviting cove below. Fully stocked with kitchenware, coffee and everything you need for a nice break, the property is quiet and is a great base from which to explore the fantastic beaches and, of course, the Redwood forests. The food options in and around Brookings are ... somewhat sparse ... but we enjoyed our meals as mere breaks between the area's breathtaking scenery. Just a great and affordable property!
