Take in a commanding view of the surrounding mountains, evergreen treetops, and the Pacific Ocean below at this hillside cabin in Brookings. This is a place for beachcombing each morning, afternoon barbecues on your expansive deck, and evenings spent stargazing in the private hot tub out back.

This single-story home enjoys a stunning position just across the Oregon Coast Highway and up the hill from Whaleshead Beach. It's located in the heart of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, where you can hike the Oregon Coast Trail, explore secluded beaches, and go for long, scenic drives. Harris Beach State Park, Cape Ferrelo, the Thomas Creek Bridge, Natural Bridges, and Arch Rock State Park are all within seven miles.

Wake up with the sunrise each morning to sip your coffee on the deck in the misty ocean air. It's the perfect spot to return to at sunset, with dinner searing on the gas grill, the table set for dinner, and the hot tub bubbling - all with a view of the ocean.

Inside, the house is full of the modern comforts of a new build (2022), from the lofty ceilings to the generous windows. Find TVs (with cable and streaming capability) in both the living room and bedroom, as well as complimentary WiFi throughout.

Things to Know
There is no washer/dryer.
Check-in time: 4:00 PM.
Check-out time: 10:00 AM.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
