South Boulder house w/ a view of the Flatirons backed by open space and trails

The home is on 10 acres bordering Boulder's mountain open space and trailheads. The South Boulder Creek Trailhead joins the property. The view from the back deck has an unobstructed view of the Flat Irons. There is a large fenced backyard to throw a ball or a frisbee and a seven-person hot tub. The dining table can seat 10 people comfortably. South Boulder Creek runs through the property. Our outdoor fire pit is great for smores and gatherings. In 2019, we installed new carpet, painted the interior, and replaced furniture throughout the home. In 2021, the exterior has been repainted.

CU Graduation 2024
Had a great experience renting this house for our daughter's CU graduation. Lots of space for family and friends. Amazing views. Close enough to campus but away from all the traffic. Owners were very flexible & helpful and responded quickly.

Not a great experience
This could have been a great house and experience with very little effort. But the home was sparsely and cheaply furnished. There weren't enough places to sit in the living room or at the dining table for a house its size, there were almost no pictures on the walls, and the curtains looked like they came from Walmart. The owner was out of town and very difficult to reach. When we were finally able to reach her to ask for more blankets, we were told there weren't any and there was no effort or concern to make our stay comfortable. There was little heat in one of the bedrooms. The large kitchen was relatively well equipped but very poorly organized and missing a few basics like serving dishes and a pitcher. We found two broken wine glasses in the cupboard. When we needed to change our plans and stay an additional night because of a snowstorm, the owner had no kind or empathetic words and simply sent us an invoice. We left the house impeccably clean and well-cared for, but never received a word of appreciation. Value for the money: Poor.

Wedding Weekend Perfection
My fiancé and I along with some of the members of our bridal party rented this place for our wedding weekend in order to have somewhere to get ready and take photos that wasn’t in a hotel room. It was absolutely perfect! The property is stunning and very spacious. I can’t wait to see our photos. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for our weekend.

Absolutely Awesome House, Location, Amenities!
We were a family group of 11, with three generations staying at this wonderful house for a family reunion. We hosted two gatherings for our 51 family members and everyone loved it! The kids played in the huge yard, fed the horses and enjoyed the spa. The young adults played games, visited on the great porch and played corn hole. We oldsters just visited and watched our children and grandchildren playing! When it came time to eat, there was plenty of space for the buffets and for everyone to find a place to eat comfortably. It was not a perfect fit for me, the disabled 82 year old Matriarch, but once we made some adap, it was

Perfection
Our group LOVED this place - it was like a dream! The house itself is large and great for groups. The kitchen has every tool you need to cook ande make a great meal. The beds were comfy and the master bedroom is amazing. My husband and I stayed in the mother-in-law sweet, which is a perfect little apartment for some privacy. The backyard is the star of the show!! The hot tub, the beautiful lawn, the giant deck and fire pit - it was all amazing! The view of the flatirons from the yard is superb. We also had a ton of fun feeding the horses who were very eager to munch on the carrots we brought. The hosts were extremely helpful in our booking process and very quick to respond to any questions or needs! If you are considering booking this place for your trip - do it!!

Awesome place with great views of the Flatirons!
Our stay was excellent! House is so cool. Out back has great views of the mountains right outside Boulder. Super close to downtown but far enough away where it’s quieter. The horses are a super cool touch as well. Communication is from the host was excellent across the board. Would recommend to anyone staying in/near Boulder!

Family get-together
There were nine of us together for a week, the week after Christmas, spanning three generations. Accomodations were spacious and clean. The great room and kitchen were fabulous. The hosts were great. When we had an issue or question they responded immediately. And there are horses to pet!! A perfect get-away, but close to Boulder if you need groceries or night life.
