    Welcome to Blue Heaven Chalet!

    Blue Heaven Chalet is located just a short walk away from Beech Mountain Ski Resort via a decking boardwalk. This recently renovated home has completely updated bathrooms, new flooring throughout, and a new gas fireplace. The kitchen has been gutted and enlarged with new cherry cabinets, quartz countertops, and new GE Profile appliances.

    We always recommend 4WD and tire chains in winter when coming to the High Country. This home does have more level access than some and room for four (4) vehicles on a paved driveway.

    Place was great. My only complaint is the Refrigerator was broken when we got there with a load of food purchased in Banner Elk. They did bring in a loner fridge like a day later but we lost some of the food due to lack of coolers. We were never offered any compensation for the food we loss.

    We loved our stay at Blue Heaven! The location was super convenient to town and skiing; we loved being able to ski in/out! Communication was excellent, and the house was clean and very comfortable. We look forward to returning!

    Our family had a great time at Blue Haven. The ski slope was just a short walk so we were able to ski down from the house. We enjoyed the comfort of the house and the gas fireplace was a treat after braving the cold weather. We enjoyed cooking meals in the well-equipped kitchen.

    Great location for ski in/ski out!
    We booked the trip to give to our kids for Christmas! We could not have asked for me with the 9 inches of fresh snow falling while we were there which made the stay even better. We had 7 people and did not feel like we were on top of each other. The Mercantile store was only a 1/2 from the house which was awesome for a few missed items. (also the place for the ski rentals). The only downside was the TV in the main room is on its last leg and it was on wide screen and the remote for that TV was nowhere. The only one available was the one for the dish TV. Bandwith for the TV on some stations was in and out. We played games, ate and drank and laughed, so the TV wasn't used too much. Since it is no longer pet friendly, sad to say we can't go back. Our dogs (2) had a blast in the snow.

    The house was as described online. We received several emails talking about having specific living spaces. One of them mentioned a basement would be colder than a loft. We assumed there was a basement in this house. The email Seems to be a stock email for any existing property. It sleeps 12 but there are only three actual bedrooms. Two of them share a bathroom. It’s a great space but we had four adult couples and several adult children. Sleeping arrangements were tight. The location couldn’t be better. We could walk directly on and off the ski slope, which was great for the younger adults who wanted to ski. Follow the email guidelines and be prepared for driving during bad weather. The day we left it snowed unexpectedly and we had to call a tow truck for chains.
