LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION... Three steps from this beautiful home and you're on the sidewalk on historic Main Street in Blowing Rock. This newly updated luxury rental is the perfect spot for a family trip, romantic getaway or a special friends trip. The central pedestrian area in Blowing Rock stretches from the Blowing Rock Art & History Museum and St. Mary of the Hills on the south side of Main Street to the Speckled Trout and Camp Coffee Roasters on the north side, with the park as well as several shops and restaurants in between. Most people, including many locals, do not realize that there is a family home on Main Street within this central pedestrian area. They pass it riding down Main Street, and if they stop by the post office, they drive right alongside this quaint 1920's brick home as they exit. It's a quiet, happy little place right in the heart of Blowing Rock. A new private driveway allows you to park 2 cars on the property which makes your stay that much more convenient. The home has been completed updated with the finest furnishings and comes fully stocked with all your basic needs. You will feel right at home when you stay at "The Blake". Perfect Location in Blowing Rock
Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Blowing Rock. We were in the area for a music festival and were so happy to retreat to The Blake after a long day of music. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved being right on Main Street with easy access to amazing restaurants, the playground for our kids and ice cream every night. We are already planning a return trip!

The house was beautiful! The location is perfect, and the beds are very comfortable. Eric was kind and worked with us on check-in and check-out times. We also enjoyed the fireplace because it was chilly when we were there. We would stay here again 100%- 5 stars for sure!

This was a great property! We had to rearrange our schedule and the property manager was so understanding and helpful with us finding a new date that would work with everyone. We will definitely stay again and LOVED the location and the house itself.

Excellent stay!
Property owner (Eric) was very responsive and helpful. Our car got stuck in the snow and he had his guys dig us out! The house is beautiful and very tastefully appointed. Very clean. Location was close to everything in town. We will stay here again. Highly recommend.

Location, location, location!
After staying in homes up on the mountainside for years, we decided to stay closer to town for the convenience of walking everywhere. The Blake way surpassed our dreams and more than hit the mark. The home itself is gorgeously furnished and includes all the extras you unfortunately don’t always find at rentals such as fully stocked bathroom vanities. We got a kick out of sitting on the front porch and watching people walk by and do a double take shocked by a home right there in the most perfect spot. We parked and never moved except to drive to skiing and tubing. Long waits at local restaurants were no issue bc we walked across or down the street to put our names on the list and then hung out and waited it out at “home”. Our teenagers loved the freedom being so close to town allowed. We are already looking at the calendars for our next visit. Thank you Eric and family!
