I checked in and went to my room, and the room was clearly occupied by somebody else. So I go back downstairs, and I told the guy working the desk. He was on his phone and barely looked up at me. He was surprised, but he gave me another room. I go to that room and there’s a “do not disturb” sign hanging on the door. I’m not going to enter a room and get shot so I went back downstairs and told the guy, still on his phone. He takes my key and goes up to the room and opens the door. All ok. Housekeeping just forgot to remove the sign. I get settled and want to watch some TV and the remote doesn’t work. So I put some clothes on and go back downstairs and tell the guy who is still on his phone. He comes upstairs with me to check the TV so I propped my door open for safety. He said he’d be back, so I sat on the bed with the door propped open waiting for him to come back. 30 minutes passes. I go back downstairs and he’s sitting behind the desk playing on his phone. I Told him I was waiting for him to come back with another remote. He said his job was the front desk and he was not a maintenance man so I told him to get me another room. This guy was a complete jerk from the minute I walked in. I could barely understand his accent, and had to ask him over and over and over again, to repeat himself. Thankfully, I don’t live in this area. I will never have to go back to this dump with the worst customer service I’ve ever had. The guy just could not be bothered to do his job. ZERO stars.
