Room would have been fine if we hadn’t had a run in with bed bugs AFTER staff left for night. Desk person is there until 10pm. I noticed a single bug in my bed. Compared it to internet pictures and was almost certain it was a bedbug. Did a quick glance at mattress and didn’t see anything. Did not sleep the rest of the night on high alert though! Morning came and we really took the bed apart and to our horror, obvious bed bug signs were in both mattresses and more alive, crawling ones were found. We were informed that the room had been treated a few times and in disgusted they continue to put people in it if that’s the case.

Last minute trip to view changing leaves

Pros: Loved the location and the views across the street and nearby. The Mexican restaurant served authentic Mexican cuisine and was delicious !!
Cons: Windows need to be thoroughly cleaned and some carpets need to be cleaned or replaced.
Location: Very picturesque and desirable location. Local views are simply amazing.
Found this hotel as it was one of only a few that were available, and was most reasonably priced for the location. Hotel staff and restaurant were second to none, room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was older but reasonably clean. I wish I had known that rooms with a view were located on the front of building and were "studio's" instead of "suites". Needless to say, next time I will be opting for one of them. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and fully intend to use this Hotel again.

Close to Ski Beech resort

Pros: scenic, well decorated. nice restaurant and nice staff, close to Ski resort
Cons: Internet went down several times during our stay
Location: Mountain location, Ski resort one mile away. Nice shops and eateries close by on Beech mountain and in Banner Elk.
comfortable, very scenic, very nice restaurant, nice staff, very nicely decorated to Christmas, made a memorable holiday for myself and daughter, her first time in the mountains in winter, she loved it. thanks very much 4 seasons !
