Roaches and Not Clean
I do not recommend this apartment. When we first entered, I noticed that there were no paper towels on the holder, there was smelly trash in the bin, open bar of soap in the master bath, and dirty foot prints all over the floor. The shampoo/conditioner holders on the bathroom wall were all empty. I opened the drawer under the sink to look for something to clean and saw a roach scurry away. We killed two more roaches. I let the owner know and she said this hasn't happened before and her reviews speak for itself. She said I could ask VRBO to find me a new place. Well we lasted one night there (supposed to stay for two nights). We left at 9am the next morning after we saw another roach. I asked for a refund from the owner and from VRBO at least just for the one night we didn't stay and have not heard back from either. This apartment is also not located in a great area. Lastly, the floor in the kitchen is literally caving in.

Very cute place
It was a very clean and cute place to stay. The owner was very nice and was easy to get a hold of. The one queen bed said it was a memory foam bed but it was extremely hard and I ended up sleeping on the air mattress I brought for my son. The home had all the essentials, we just brought our food and toiletries along. The wagon that is there was a huge lifesaver for toting our belongings up and down! Thankfully I brought my own as well. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy at the parks but we didn't spend much time there. I was disappointed about not being able to use the pool that was originally listed on the booking though. The locations of the amenities wasn't listed so we had to do a lot of exploring to see what was where and what lock in the app opened with place. We were quite impressed with the fitness area but unfortunately did not have enough time to actually use it. Overall we very much enjoyed the stay.

This place is in very unsafe area. It’s in the area where HBO The Wire was filmed. In a very bad area. It’s littered with trash and homeless tents are all around.

Great Downtown Apartment!
We had a fantastic visit! The apartment was clean and totally met our needs. Lakisha, the owner, was fabulous to work with! She always answered our questions immediately! The location was perfect. Very close to the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards. We also toured DC quite a bit, and getting to and from the metro was super easy. Lakisha had the place well stocked with many convenient items. The other people in the building were SOOO friendly! We're from a small rural area, so we were expecting a big-city feeling where people ignore you. We were very impressed with the kindness of people in the area and specifically in the building!! One thing, that's not a reflection on Lakisha or the actual apartment itself, is that there was an obvious smell of marijuana being smoked in the building, all week long! Lakisha has the apartment smelling very clean and fresh. But the building itself, or at least our floor, was heavy with the smell! Also, just something to note, the pool is not in the same building as the apartment. It's actually in the building right next door. It didn't hinder us at all, because we were too busy to get to the pool anyway, but it is something to be aware of. Thanks for everything, Lakisha!
