    Incredible romantic retreat
    This is our second time at Akalki, it is nothing short of wonderful. The rooms on the lagoon/lake are beautifully, simply furnished, bright and airy. You walk out the door onto your deck and can jump into the water. The staff is extremely accommodating and are at your beck and call. Massages are wonderful, and we took Yoga classes two mornings from and excellent local teacher. This beautiful, quiet place with only 7 cottages and, I think, 4 rooms, is special. It is so special that all the boats cruising by from the village of Bacalar make a pass by it to show it to their passengers, but they don't get too close.

    Now I can say I saw heaven
    Actually it is a "little bit" difficult to find the way to go to Akal Ki. Not only to find, but also to go to this place. But when you will discover the bungalows directly built on the laguna, and the water which offers all the possible nuances of blue, green... the time will stop. You will have ascended to heaven ! Just remember that heaven needs to be earned...

    Excelente servicio, su personal es muy amable
    Excelente cocina, les recomiendo de la carta el ceviche, los tacos de Jamaica y el filete de pescado al tamarindo, ademas los especiales del día suelen ser muy buenos. El personal con una excelente actitud, excepto el personal de limpieza que olvido un día limpiar nuestro cuarto, la vista que ofrece el hotel es espectacular, un lugar excelente para relagarse

    Un paraiso
    El mejor destino turístico en la península de Yucatán. No hay nada parecido a esta laguna. El hotel es un sueño. Fui con mis niñas de 1 y 3 años y lo pasaron de maravilla. Muy cerca, a 35 min. hay zonas arqueológicas espectaculares. La comida rica y el trato amable y personal.

    A nuestro llegada al hotel nadie estaba en la recepción teníamos que esperar y pedir que alguien venga para obtener nuestra habitación. Las habitaciones parecen limpias pero aunque no teníamos comidas en la habitación hormigas entraron en una bolsa y al regreso de la cena encontramos cucarachas en nuestra ropa. Aunque existe mosquitero en las ventanas a que si sirven por que el aire entra entre el marco y la ventana. Por fin el servicio en el restaurante es muy lento y la carta corresponde mas a un snack que a un restaurante
