Excellent location but just okay accommodation
We did struggle with this one, even though the description says sleeps up to 6, it’s no where near big enough. We are a family with two young children and it wasn’t big enough for us. Unfortunately there was no sleeping arrangement for my 2 year old so he had to sleep in bunk beds, he fell out most nights. There was no high chair either. I do find it odd that you have to pick your own linen up from property services and make your own beds, there are no basic items in the apartment, for example towels, tea towels, toilet rolls. We have stayed in plenty of accommodation with other companies and we’ve always had at least the very basics.
We did find it quite noisy at night with people walking up from bars shouting outside up to 1-2am not great with young children been woken up.
The kitchen is very small with no cupboard space or worktop space.
The only saving grace was the location which was great for ski schools and nurseries. I think in future if we were to stay in Flaine again, we would rather book a full chalet and take the ski bus to the slopes. In a whole, the accommodation was just okay but wouldn’t stay again.
