Jefferson Stay
The staff was very accommodating. I had asked for a handicap accessible room. The only thing was the room for four people was not handicap accessible so we ended up having to get two rooms, because one of the guest had had a stroke and in a wheelchair and was unable to stay in the suite that I had booked, the young lady, who was on duty, was amazing and showing us the rooms and helping us get settled.

Cleanliness needed to be a bit more desirable, as hide a bed sheets were dirty on multi layers of bed, liens left in room had hair all over them and tide pod for dishwasher was leaking all over counter. Room size with beds misleading when booking online, and after questioning was told hide a bed was a king size (not true). Male overnight staff was amazing and very friendly, assisting with getting clean sheets for our room and helping put the room together as it should be. Check-in staff a bit to be desired as she didnt have a warm welcome or explain any whereabouts for the hotel. Morning staff (Jacque) was welcoming with a smile and super friendly. Breakfast was alright. Would suggest getting more than one luggage trolley on busy weekends when having events as many people checking in and out could use them and this hotel only had one that was broken and came apart. Over-all I would rate this hotel a 6.5 out of 10

Front staff helper was extremely rude. She was rude to my mother in law before I arrived. Then, when I came to check in there was a sign saying “stepped away will be back in a few minutes” I waited at least 25 minutes there. Then, when she got there I told her I was checking in and she goes “here you go.” She hands me my cards for my room. I ask her “well what room am I in?” She tells me. I walk away to my room, end up going the wrong way because she gave no directions, no instructions, nothing. I didn’t even sign anything to check in??? Love this hotel in Jefferson—convenient for us during the holidays but the service can really bring the experience down. I am so disappointed
