Guarne (Pass by)

Marinilla (Pass by)

Parque Tematico Replica del Viejo Penol (Pass by)
El Viejo Peñol is a replica of the ancient town of El Peñol, which was flooded in the 1970s to make way for the Guatapé reservoir. Here, travelers will be able to tour a small but charming square that recreates the colonial architecture of the original village, with its church, colorful houses and crafts venues. On this site, they will learn about the history of the community that had to relocate and how the reservoir transformed the region. In addition, you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the lake, making it a perfect place to take pictures before continuing the tour.
Piedra Del Penol (Pass by)
La Piedra del Peñol is an imposing 220-meter high rock formation, considered one of Colombia’s main tourist attractions. Travelers will have the option of ascending the 740 steps to the top, where they will be rewarded with a spectacular panoramic view of the Guatapé reservoir and the mountainous landscapes of Antioquia. For those who prefer to admire the rock from the base, there are rest areas, souvenir shops and spaces to take pictures.
