The “Try Dive” is an introductory scuba diving activity specifically designed for beginners. The entire experience spans approximately 2.5 hours, beginning with a 40-minute briefing session. This initial segment covers essential information, including the use of scuba equipment, underwater communication through hand signals, and an overview of the dive itinerary.
Following the briefing, participants will change into the provided wetsuits and boots in the designated changing area. Once suited up, a brief 10-minute van ride will transport the group to the dive site. As the site is directly accessible from the beach, the activity will take the form of a shore dive off Mar Menuda Beach.
Upon arrival at the water, the guide will divide the dive into manageable steps, allowing participants ample time to become comfortable with each phase at their own pace. Entering the water from the beach provides a gradual descent, which is particularly beneficial for acclimating to pressure changes, especially in the ears.
The underwater portion of the experience lasts approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour, though this may vary depending on individual breathing rates. Participants who are more anxious may use their air supply more quickly. During the dive, guides will capture photographs and video footage to provide participants with a memorable keepsake of the experience.
Please note that all participants must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Late arrivals will not be permitted to join the activity, and refunds or rescheduling will not be offered in such cases.
Participants must be in good health and free from any medical conditions requiring prescribed medication in order to take part in the activity.
