Fifty years later, the Luka Mozaika project rekindles that creative spirit, initiating a mosaic workshop to craft the world's longest stone mosaic right here in Vela Luka. Residents and visitors, hailing from places like China, Russia, Japan, South Africa, Australia, EU, Argentina, USA, Canada, and Palestine, came together to create hundreds of mosaics. This mosaic stands as a collective ode to the beauty of creativity, diversity, and community—a testament to how a small town can tell a global story.
