What you can expect

On this tasty cocktail tour, stroll through the French Quarter as you look into the past to uncover America's first craft cocktails. With an experienced New Orleans guide to lead you between historic bars and hip new watering holes, try innovative cocktails and learn about the classics, from Sazeracs to hurricanes. Tour group sizes are kept small in order to enhance the guest experience for all those on the tour.

Meet up with your guide in the heart of the French Quarter and let them lead you through the partiers on Bourbon Street to reach the authentic Big Easy craft-cocktail bars. Tour group sizes are kept small (16 or less) to ensure a quality tour and to enhance the guest experience. When you arrive, consider sipping on a sazerac, considered to be America’s oldest cocktail, or a refreshing mint julep as you chat about history of mixing spirits in New Orleans.

Pop between historic bars, saloons, and taverns with your guide, taking note of how early French, Spanish, Caribbean, and African influences blended together to create rich and unique architectural settings. Along the way, go behind the scenes to see one of the city's oldest wine cellars, and get tips on other classic drinks to try, like a Ramos gin fizz or a grasshopper.
