Departure from the historic center of Mantua, pier B1 Navi Andes on Lago di Mezzo (in front of the Castle).
You first navigate Lake Mezzo and Lake Inferiore, admiring the spectacle of the Gonzaga Palace that seems to float on the water. You enter “Vallazza,” a wetland of subtle suggestion, with water chestnuts, water lilies from which herons rise or nutria escape. This is one of the most interesting wetlands, now protected by WWF to allow a balanced coexistence between man and nature. On the way up to the Nature Reserve, one encounters on the way the large expanses of water chestnuts on which dozens of tufted warblers, egrets herons are stationed. Royal swans, marsh hawks in flight above the reedbeds will not fail to amaze the enchanted eye of tourists. The guide comments on the route.
