Hop on a bike and pedal your way up the Klondike Bluff Trail from Moab to the edges of Arches National Park. Experience a variety of Moab's unique red-rock landscapes, including slickrock sandstone and short sections of bumpy terrain.
Your adventure begins at Chile Pepper Bike Shop in Moab, where you pick out your bicycle and then head to the trail with your guide. Ride along a bike path that allows you to gain 800 feet (243 m) of elevation, passing over both easy and difficult terrain along your way.
Keep your eyes peeled for dinosaur tracks, as there are examples of these extinct animals' footprints embedded in sections of sandstone. When you reach the top of the trail, get off your bike and take a short hike to a remote area that offers awe-inspiring views of the warm-colored bluffs below. After relaxing for a while and savoring the sights, hop back on your bike, gliding easily along the path, as the trail is mostly all downhill on your return.
