Description

Experience thrilling whitewater rafting and Glacier National Park’s jaw-dropping scenery on the wild and scenic Middle Fork of the Flathead River. With an expert guide helping you navigate your inflatable raft down the stream, you can rest assured you're in capable hands.

Begin your excursion at the tour headquarters where the staff outfits you with a life jacket, wetsuit, and booties. Then climb on board a shuttle for an entertaining 25-minute ride to the launch location. Before stepping into the raft, go over a brief rundown on river safety and paddle commands.

The put-in point is calm and gives you ample time to practice working together with your crew mates before you tackle the exhilarating Class II and III rapids further downstream. Enjoy the breath-taking scenery of the surrounding mountains and valleys during the first 1.5 hours of your trip. Then, as the canyon walls get taller and more narrow, the river's current becomes stronger and faster.

Listen closely to your guide's commands as you splash through the churning whitewater rapids. Paddling in sync with the commands, you expertly manoeuvre even the most intense sections of the river.

The last 15-minute stretch of river mellows out, providing more chances to spot wildlife and soak in Glacier’s scenery. The bus meets you at the take-out point, and a 10-minute ride takes you back to the headquarters where you can dry off and view pictures of you and your crew, braving the rapids.
