Travel back in time by venturing to ancient Coba and Tulum, 2 of the most remarkable ancient Maya towns. Climb to the top of the 137-foot (42-m) pyramid of Nohoch Mul, swim in spectacular Cenote Wayak, and experience real Mayan Traditions: Honey & Chocolate demonstration on-site.

Following hassle-free hotel pickup, your first stop is the picturesque city of Tulum, which is perched high above the crashing waves of the Caribbean Sea. This ancient site boasts well-preserved architecture, including a massive pyramid and the Temple of the Frescoes, which was used as a solar observatory. After visiting the ruins, head down to the pristine beach for some time in the sun.

Continue to Rancho Santa Cruz, where a local shaman welcomes you with a purifying ceremony. Next, head over to Cenote Wayak and go for a swim in the crystal-clear turquoise water. After cooling off, stop by a local Mayan demonstratio to learn more about the local traditions: Authentic honey & Cocoa.

Fuel the next part of your journey with a buffet lunch in Rancho Santa Cruz before exploring the extensive archaeological site. Walk to the top of the stunning, authentic Maya pyramid of Nohoch Mul for a rewarding 360-degree view of the Yucatán Peninsula and the rippling ocean, and then enjoy a leisurely ride back to your hotel through the countryside.

We had a fantastic time. Carlos from EKNX who ran the tour was really engaging and gave a lot of useful information and made the journey very enjoyable. The group size was good (not too big) and we were able to take full advantage of the day. Enjoying some time to roam around Tulum by ourselves. The Cenote was a fantastic experience and beautiful. The food was really enjoyable and very typical of the area. (The Mole is great to try!) Would recommend this tour to anyone! Thanks Carlos, Gerry and Armando!
