What you can expect

SPECIAL NOTICE*

On April 16, 2021, without prior notice, Conanp, the Mexican agency charged with administration of the whale shark feeding zone, closed the whale shark area under their control for all operators, private boats, yachts, etc. The whale shark national park, created in 2019, was supposed to stay open until May 30th of 2021. Conanp claims that most of the whale sharks are moving north out of their traditional feeding area.

To do this activity now, we must go an hour or more north, beyond the Conanp controlled area, to search for whale sharks. This adds time to the excursion, the costs of which we will cover. We will also include a visit to the sea lion colony and visit a remote beach and put out kayaks, and paddleboards, as appropriate. Paddle boards, kayaks, and water toys are not legal inside the whale shark feeding zone but are legal outside that specific area. We will do everything in our power to provide a high-quality experience, regardless of whether or not we are able to locate whale sharks outside the zone.

Enjoy an outstanding ALL INCLUSIVE cruise, on a large and spacious sailing catamaran, and snorkel with the largest fish in the world! The whale shark filters surface water for microscopic plankton, which allows us to swim beside these rare and gentle giants. The PREMIER tour of its kind, our whale shark excursion includes a cruise of approximately 4.5 to 5 hours, and includes savory organic meals, a skilled and educated crew, and a marine biologist as snorkel leader. There is nothing to bring, we provide it all, a power support boat, bottled water, beer, sodas, an open bar, private bathrooms, fresh water showers, laundered towels, all the equipment needed. Truly a lifetime experience!
