90-Minute Express Segway Tour in the French Quarter

by City Segway Tours Duration 1h 30m Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per traveler Price is $55

Glide through the Big Easy and see how people and music shaped modern-day New Orleans. This guided Segway tour visits areas rich in history and the scenic sights of the Mississippi River, and you can learn about the parks, districts, and people that had the greatest influences on the city.

Begin your adventure with an orientation that includes instructions and practice on the use of a Segway to ensure a fun and safe time. Your guide leads you through the French Quarter, the culturally diverse district famous for its Mardi Gras celebration and home to some of the nation's oldest architecture.

Learn about jazz history as you roll through Louis Armstrong Park, named for the New Orleans native and legendary musician. These picturesque gardens are located in the Treme neighborhood, the first area for “free people of color” who more than helped give rise to jazz music and its most famous musicians.

Ride further along many diverse neighborhoods and districts. You may feel like you have stepped back in time with its colonial-era architecture, landmarks such as the Old U.S. Mint, and monuments in honor of notable citizens. Stop on the banks of the Mississippi River for a photo opportunity and wrap up your tour with tales about French influence on local culture.
