Your guide will prepare you for your Dubrovnik paddling adventure. We’ve made the paddling and safety instructions super easy for you. Our guide will demonstrate kayaking and safety techniques and provide you with the life vest and waterproof bags for your belongings. The tour is easy going with plenty of stops along the way, so that anyone can enjoy it, with or without previous paddling experience.
3-Hour Dubrovnik Sea Kayaking Tour
On this scenic 3-hour tour, you’ll paddle around the distinctive Dubrovnik City Walls, explore the wild coastline, and venture towards the mysterious Island of Lokrum. You’ll begin your journey at Pile Bay, where you'll get comfortable with your kayak and get ready for the adventure ahead. From there, you'll glide past the iconic City Walls, enjoying incredible views of the Old Town from the sea.
Next, you’ll paddle to the Island of Lokrum, a lush nature reserve where you’ll have the chance to take photos at famous Game of Thrones filming locations. Continuing along the coast, you'll visit the Pigeon Cave, a hidden gem perfect for a brief break before heading to Betina Cave, where you’ll enjoy 40 minutes of snorkeling and swimming in the crystal-clear waters.
As you paddle along the coastline, you’ll pass the historic Villa Sheherezade and the Lazareti Quarantine, an intriguing historical site that once served as a quarantine station. Continuing on, you’ll paddle by the beautiful Banje Beach, with stunning views of Dubrovnik. Finally, you’ll make an easy return, slowly paddling back along the city walls and coastline, with plenty of stops for photo opportunities.
2-Hour Dubrovnik Sea Kayaking Tour
Discover the stunning coastline of Dubrovnik on this 2-hour sea kayaking and snorkeling tour, perfect for all skill levels.
The tour begins at Pile Bay, just outside the Old Town, where you’ll get set up with your kayak and safety gear. From there, you’ll paddle along the iconic Dubrovnik City Walls, taking in spectacular views of the UNESCO-listed Old Town from the water.
You’ll continue along the coastline, with views of the lush Island of Lokrum in the distance. While we don’t paddle around the island on this tour, you’ll still get a great perspective of its dramatic cliffs and natural beauty.
The route takes you past Villa Sheherezade, the historic Lazareti Quarantine complex, and the lively Banje Beach. The highlight of the tour is a 30-minute break at Betina Cave—a secluded beach accessible only by sea—where you’ll have time to swim, snorkel, and enjoy the clear Adriatic waters.
After the break, you’ll make a relaxed return to Pile Bay, with plenty of opportunities to take photos and hear stories about Dubrovnik’s rich maritime and cultural history.
