We are 4 older adults-all over 60 and have rented in Tahoe for 20 years. Unfortunate when we got to home after long drive no keys in any of 3 lockboxes. After hour we called Vrbo and Vacasa. After much confusion Vrbo said up to local team.another hour later kind woman on her day off gave us owner key code to get in and said someone would be by to get us right keys and show us few things in house. This didn’t happen until next day.. but at least we were in. The next issue was the house picture totally misleading. The upper lovely balcony and view rooms upstairs were locked and not available to us. Just owner. Frustrating. Not only shut off but made rest of house super dark. Then the overall cleanliness. Stuff like regurgitated food in sink crumbs in and on surfaces and furniture major stains on carpets. On a good note the location the cute exterior and beautifully maintained grounds great! This is the first time with VRBO I have had bad experience and left negative review. In addition, the booking was confusing. We got confirmation with Vacasa and then later got confirmation from you all at higher price an additional $977. Which we would like back Only 1 confirmation should come even if third party. Later when calling about a few questions it took 2 hours to get someone at VRBO who threw the ball back to local team Vacasa. Much too much wasted time on what should have been a nice vaca. We requested cleaning deposit back from Vacasa as they saw the issues and we want the $977
