Wonderful Water Fox

Stayed 5 days here with our two daughters, their husbands and kids. 6 adults, 4 children all under age 5. Plenty of space for everyone-and then some! Property is private and in a beautiful location. Short drive to attractions in the area. Cabin is very well stocked with plates, bowls, silverware etc.. which was very nice because we made most of our meals and spent a lot of time swimming, playing and just relaxing at the cabin. (And not having to do dishes too frequently) Played games out on the porch/deck enjoying a beautiful view and got some awesome family pictures. Host was very responsive to questions both before and during our stay. Kids didn't play on the pirate ship too much and would've been nice if it had some swings, but they loved playing on the porch. Pool could've been a little warmer, but once in and moving around it was ok. Overall a great place, especially for large or multiple families. We definitely had a five star stay!

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was just like the pictures and very clean. We had 2 issues with the bed springs and bees on porch and Erik handles both immediately to take care of the issues. We had our family of 10 and they loved the hot tub, all having their own rooms and bathrooms and the game room was an extra. We loved the large table/island that fit all of us. Only thing I would suggest was the pool was cold and we couldn’t use. It was set at 82 and moved 2 degrees but for some reason very cold. Suggest a little higher temp to make comfortable to swim. Overall highly recommend this cabin. Especially for a large family. Thank you!

Amazing

If you are lucky enough to have booked this house then get ready for an absolutely wonderful experience. The magical outdoor living space with fireplace is perfect, the hot tub was sparkling clean, the kitchen has literally everything you need to cook except food which is easily stored in the brand new refrigerator. The pool is easily accessed from the living room and actually viewable from the kitchen which is very reassuring for younger children present. The beds were very comfy and each bathroom was clean and had the perfect amenities. Folks I cannot say enough about how Erik checked every box on this one! Book now and thank Erik later! An added bonus to this location is that the strip for Pigeon Forge is literally 12 mins away.

Quiet Family Vacation

Our stay at Waterfox was wonderful. The amenities the house offers make it easy to stay close and spend much needed time with family. The house was clean and everything was as advertised. The owner was quick to respond when I had a small issue and solved the issue quickly. Could not recommend this place more and will definitely be staying here again in the future

Perfect for Families

My family of 5 (8, 7, 2.5 year old), as well as both sets of grandparents enjoyed staying at this cabin during spring break. We were instantly impressed with the house from the moment we walked in—it smelled fresh and clean, just like it was. The layout was perfect for everyone to have their own space, and an added bonus was everyone had their own bathroom. The movie room and pool was a hit with my big kids. The best part was that there were box fans and extra blankets and pillows in every room—they had truly thought of everything to make the stay easy and enjoyable!

Spring Break

Took my family here for Spring Break. The pool was the main reason getting this cabin and it did not disappoint. The cabin was beautiful, had everything we needed, tv in every room, bathroom in every bedroom. We never left the cabin, would definitely stay here again

We loved it here!

This house was beautiful and met all our expectations. The kids loved the pool, game room, theater room and outside area. It was in a great location, not too far up from town. The property was quiet and secluded. The house was clean and well kept. The owner was very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this house!

Great cabin for large multi-family getaway

The cabin was perfect for our large multiple family getaway! The game room, play ship and pool were a big hit with all of the kids. The hot tub was on the smaller side for a house of this capacity, only fitting 2 or 3 people at a time. Eric the owner was very responsive to my questions. He accommodated adding another night to our reservation last minute. The kitchen supplies were a little lacking. We cooked every night of our stay and could have used more prep bowls and cookware. There were plenty of plates, cups and eating utensils and even plastic ware for the kids. Having a keurig and a coffee pot machine was a plus for our large group. The heating and cooling upstairs and down were very inconsistent. One bedroom was 10 degrees colder than the room next to it. But at night It got way too hot. The fireplaces were all electric and were a good heat source for the individual spaces. Lastly, the pest control was an issue all over. There were ants and Asian lady beetles everywhere. The pool room and all of the downstairs had ants. The kids got bit multiple times in the pool room and living room. The upstairs bedroom in suite bathroom had hornets coming out of one of the exhaust fans. We had to keep the door closed with a towel in front of it to keep them out of the bedroom. The location was perfect. We were about 5 miles out of town. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. But the cabin was secluded from traffic and only one neighbor within sight thru the trees.

Incredible Family Vacation House

This was the absolute perfect house for our new years vacation to the Pigeon Forge area. The house was immaculately clean and all the amenities (pool, game room, movie room, outdoor pirate ship) were perfect for kids ages 3-10. We comfortably fit 3 families of four and still had an extra bed/bathroom. Plus the communication with the owner was very easy and efficient.I would definitely recommend staying at this perfect property!

Great property. Good location not in the middle of all the busyness of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg but easy to go to those areas and Smokey Mountain National Park.House is just as described. Pool, hot tub,game room movie room and deck all fun. All the rooms were perfect and clean . Erik was very prompt with a minor concern we had. Would definitely recommend this house

Family Vacation

Yearly family vacation which 8 adults and 3 children. The cabin was spacious and secluded like the pictures on the website. Located close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Everyone enjoyed the game options and pirate ship was a hit with the kids. We had a few issues during our stay. Couldn't use the pool due to heater not working and it was only 72 degrees (too cold to swim). It wasn't fixed until the last day we were there. Only 2 bath towels in each bathroom. Overall everyone had a good time at the Water Fox cabin.

We'll be back!!!

Cannot say enough about our stay at Water Fox! My family of 5 relaxed for 3 days and enjoyed all the amenities this cabin has to offer!! The rooms are all spacious, the whole property was very clean, and the cabin is beautiful! We watched movies in the theater room, relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed splashing in the pool! We come to the Smokies several times a year and will definitely be back!!!
