Don't waste your time!
I've never written a review on any of our previous vacation rentals and I normally leave that to my wife, but this was by far our WORST vacation rental ever and we wouldn't recommend this property to anyone. We drove 14 hours and we would have left this house the next morning and simply got a hotel room to get the actual relaxing vacation experience we expected and needed if Vrbo would've refunded our money. The description and photos on the Vrbo website are misleading, don't accurately depict the actual property and should be removed. There was nothing "upscale", "elegant" "premier" or appealing about this property.
Things that would have made this vacation relaxing and memorable in a "good way":
1) No cockroaches
2) Hotel quality linen as stated in advertisement and not the yellow stained bedding we actually had
3) Gray bath towels and cloths instead of the "white" towels that looked grayish (dirty)
5) Lawn furniture that wasn't sun-bleached, weather-worn and that wouldn't leave our clothes dirty
6) Structurally sound boards supporting the back porch overhang covering the "screened in large porch". The screened in porch was a big part of why we rented this home - very disappointed.
7) Multiple openings in the "screened in" porch large enough for mosquitoes and other vermin to enter
8) Taking a shower without water pooling around and over your feet.
9) Pots & pans that didn’t look burned out and well-worned from previous use.
