Relaxing Stay

I really enjoyed this house. The decorations are gorgeous and the layout is phenomenal. The spaces are very well planned. The property manager and maintenance personnel were very friendly and responsive. It is a 4/4 and very spacious. The only thing of note that I would mention is to ask what temperature the hot tub is before you stay. It was never warm enough to utilize during my visit. The pool was heated, but at some point the heat cut off and it was not warm enough to use for the last 2-3 days of my 5 day stay. Other than that, everything was perfect. There were pool toys and bikes available in the garage. There were plenty of dishes, cookware and bakeware in the kitchen and a fully functional coffee pot which always makes a stay better in my mind. The back drop of the mountains for scenery is simply amazing. I don't think I could have picked a better place.

We arrived & were immediately impressed w/the landscape. We felt the "pool spa" and it was ice cold. I had emailed two days prior to our stay requesting that the hot tub be heated for our stay. I received a response: "I would like to clarify that there is no hot tub in the home." I responded that it was in the listing's main picture and listing title. I received another response 24hrs later that said, "Regrettably, the hot tub is not available." Hmm, weird that they did not tell me that before our stay. The home has 4 bathrooms and we immediately noticed 2 toilets were not working; one of which was in the outbuilding bedroom! The person staying in the outbuilding would have to go into the main home to pee in the middle of the night. The shades in the outbuilding were not working. They would not go up & when pulled down, were stuck in that position. The screen door came off the main house the first time it was closed. There were no shades on the other west-facing bedroom. Blankets were hung by us. I called the # I was given for a local manager, no answer. Left a VM. Received a text from a different number, texted back. Received a response from yet another number. I finally called VRBO. I was assured a plumber would be sent out that day & that they would respond to me before our checkout. No plumber was sent. No one has ever called back. I have made 2 more calls to VRBO & VACASA. They've assured me that I shouldn't call them, they'll call me...I'm still waiting 10 days later.

Great family get away

We loved this location because of the size of the house and pool. The house is central to everything we needed. My children were so happy that they got to be in the pool all day and use the putting green in the back of the house at night

Great pool and perfect location

We had a great time. Kitchen was super well stocked and the pool was so beautiful and welcome in the 106 degree weather. Quiet, safe location. Would stay here again.

This Spacious Mid-Century Place is Adorable

Loved our stay!!! The house has so much character and the pool area felt resort-like. We felt safe at all times and the owners were very responsive when we had any questions or concerns.

Comfort and style

This is a lovely home with a fantastic pool. It was well stocked, clean and spacious. The perfect place for our group of four friends. We loved all the outdoor seating areas and the putting green! Very quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!

The property is spacious, comfortable, and nicely furnished in a quiet neighborhood. The pristine pool and patio are lovely. Although the housekeeping staff do a good job of day-to-day cleaning, unfortunately other larger maintenance chores have been neglected. The terrazzo floors are badly stained, the couch in the living room is very soiled, and the living room rug is also very dirty. There is peeling paint on the bottom of the bathroom walls and built-in metal shelves in the bathrooms that are rusted. It’s surprising to see such neglect in a truly beautiful and nicely decorated modernist home. Despite these issues, we really loved the decor and comfortableness of the home with its spacious and well-furnished kitchen and beautiful outdoor space.

Mostly great

The outside area of this house is amazing. The pool makes for a very social setting and the landscaping is gorgeous and spacious. The location was great and the area was nice and quiet. The inside of the house is mid century with a nice layout, big rooms and cool furnishings. It’s important to note that house is old and the bathrooms have no fans so there is a musty smell to it. The 4th bedroom is actually an in-law unit next to the pool which was really nice and worked great for us but if you are traveling with kids and need to all be in the same house then this wouldn’t work for you. The kitchen had lots of stuff but it felt of high turnover with not one lid fitting any pot, no kettle, a dishwasher that didn’t work great and zero tupperware. So not ideal for cooking but great if you like to do takeout. Our only very frustrating issue was dealing with the rental property managing company Vacasa. We had a whole day power outage due to scheduled maintenance (which we learned the day of arrival) and it took hours on hold to reach them and they kept directing us to both the local office or the national office as if they didn’t want to deal with us. They ended up offering a VERY low compensation for the outage even though CA law says you are not allowed to rent to someone if the power is out. Not our favorite thing to deal with during a short vacation but hopefully it won’t happen to you. And this was an issue with Vacasa and not the house. Overall we had a nice time and our kids loved it.

Pool house

Wonderful house. However,, the pool house was not up to par. It was hot and had a nasty odor. The shower was weak and the toilet ran. The house has a water leak also. Other than that it was great!

Love the layout and decor and of course, the pool! It was a scorcher during our stay and the pool saved us. Close to downtown and golf so we loved our stay. Would love to come again.

Beautiful rental in a perfectly located neighborhood

A group of 7 of us stayed here for three days and we loved it. Exceeded all expectations. Having the thermostat set to 76 was never an issue since it was over 100 outside. The interior is so fun and nostalgic, but everything is updated! Definitely recommend staying for multiple nights!!
