Great for families

House had plenty of space for a large family. The kids loved the pool. One of the patio chairs did break when my husband sat down, so they may need to be looked at and replaced. Wish it was a little closer to Universal but the drive wasnt terrible. Only complaint is i feel like the grout in the showers could have been cleaned a little better.

Good Stay, very responsive

There were 2 of us and the space was wonderful! The location is very convenient and easy to get to. The community felt safe. The property was clean. My first VRBO experience, good deal! I would definitely do it again!

The property is Ok but you told me that was 4 bedrooms and four bathrooms and we found only 3 bathrooms the light of the kitchen were damage also the freezer on the fridge

Most amazing vacation

We really enjoyed the house that we had. It was perfect for our family. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We had great communication with the owners or whoever rents it not that we had any issues at all. The only thing was the pool light did not work, but that was a minor inconvenience, we really enjoyed our stay

I loved the place. We enjoyed playing in the pool and having room for our family. The only complaints I have are that the main bed was a little hard for my liking and the jacuzzi water level would drop below the jets. Other than that it was good all around. It was pretty affordable also.

Great Place Close to Everything!

Had a wonderful stay at this home. Large enough that everyone in my family of 6 had their own space to decompress when we came back from spending days at the Parks (Disney, Epcot, etc) that were so close. Plus, so many restaurants and supermarkets were nearby. Great location, highly recommend staying here!

On arrival we allocated 3 bedrooms for our family,my son opened the closet door in his bedroom to put his clothes away & the door fell sideways onto his shoulder as it did not have a securing bracket at the foot of the door & the backet on top of the door did not fit into the runner properley.we found several issues which i photographed & sent to wonder vacation homes to make a note of to prove we hadn't caused the damage,the property needs a bit of upgrading due to little faults,marks on the walls etc,a shame people cant be more careful with the property really,annother issue is raccoons getting to the trash & causing a mess on the property,trash bins could be fitted with a simple clasp to stop them getting in,this in itself was causing rubbish to be blown over residential area which didnt make it feel clean.property was just about sufficient & location we found very good for getting around.

Rental needs update.

When we arrived at almost 4 pm the house was not ready for us. The property is in a nice neighborhood close to many shops and not far from the parks. The house however needs updating. The vibe of the house was old with oversized furniture and walls and bathroom that needs updating. During our stay the pool stop working. I initially told the owner who did not respond after communicating with me a lot via text. I had to contact the management company. We spent two days without the pool but they did come and fix it.

Overall awesome home for vacation. Pool was clean, everything worked well. Could have better cleaning in both showers and bed sheets need an upgrade. Neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. We walked around neighborhood and it was very nice and well maintained. We had a great time.........................

Weird property management

Had a hard time with this review. I liked the place itself (it did have mold in the master shower, and some furniture that was pretty banged up), but the property managers were really unorganized and often not responsive (until they want you to leave a review, then it's about 6 emails). They make you give them a copy of your credit card, and pay a deposit off VRBO (which I'm pretty sure is against policy) and then don't keep a record of what you've paid or submitted. They say in their communications something is one price, then try to charge you more than that, they say they'll give you a door code 48 hours before, you get it a few hours before. We had an issue in which something we had paid extra for was too hard to locate when we checked in, no one would answer. It was a bed for an infant, and nearing bedtime, so pretty important. A little better communication and a lot better organization would have changed this review around for me. I'm a host myself, and I just wouldn't treat guests like this. It seems like they're managed from another country based on the off-hours they reply. They also don't answer the phone when you call...

Great location

The location was excellent for easily driving to the Disney parks! The house needs some minor TLC/ basic upkeep issues. Max occupancy of the home Is 12 but I believe there was only 6 forks and 2-3 coffee mugs which almost all of them had glue repaired handles. Easy enough for our group to overlook but if there was a houseful it might be an issue. The decorative pillowcases were dirty, appearing to not have been laundered. Be careful Having groceries delivered our flight got delayed and our groceries mostly survived all but a loaf of bread eaten by the possum and raccoon we saw in the trash bins over the next few days. Overall we weren’t at the house that much as we were busy being tourists so we easily overlooked these minor issues we but wanted to leave an accurate review. ( it’s April so the Christmas decorations along the sidewalk Could go lol )

The house fit our group of 5 comfortably, and we enjoyed the private pool. The location was convenient to visit the parks and nearby cities. If you plan on staying for more than a weekend be aware you are only given one trash bag, one roll of TP per bathroom and two dishwasher pods. You are also only given one towel per guest so you must provide your own pool towel or use your bath towel. Be sure to review the pictures as the description and bedroom/bed/shower count is incorrect.

Decent place for a no-frills rental

The location and property are good. Having 4 bathrooms is very nice. Be sure and check the beds for firmness before you pick yours. One room had a brick for a mattress but the others were fine. The pool is nice but could be better if the waterfall and circulation didn't turn off at 8pm. Kind of a bummer when you want to relax in the evening and no water pumping. There is a hole in the ceiling screen with trees right beside pool, so the pool and pool area got covered in leaves. Be sure and know NOW the resort pool area is CLOSED and nobody let us know this before our stay. Could not use any of the amenities there.

A little bit of magic from the start

OK, so we're becoming Disney World people and this is the third house we've stayed in over the past two years. I was a bit hesitant of the Wonder Vacation Homes contact process, but it went off without a hitch and they were Super Attentive. We arrived in the evening and the outside lights to the house were on, there were a couple inside lights on and --we actually thought we had the wrong house as the (beautiful new 75") TV on the wall in the living room was on. I put in our code and the door opened to a relaxing scene on the TV with soothing music playing just like you'd expect when walking into a resort/spa. We had a great time and found having two en suite king bed rooms was a huge bonus for us. Everything to me felt like it was taken care of to a high standard and, while not "brand new" level of clean, is probably cleaner than my own home if I'm honest. We felt like we could have used a couple more tumblers/cups for water or non-coffee beverages (and maybe even a couple more coffee cups) but the house was well stocked and we had no complaints. The neighbors followed the noise guidelines which was a pleasant surprise when they were out enjoying the pool (in late January!). The community itself (Veranda Palms) is a gated community with a security officer in the evening and on weekends. We really felt secure here and the drive to get back on 192 toward the parks is just a couple minutes away. This is a fantastic location and one I'm sure we'll be looking to visit again.

Okay but not as expected

Neighborhood and street we were located on was quiet, kitchen could use a few more basic cooking/baking items (cookie sheet and pizza pan would have been useful). Sliding back door would not lock or at least we could not get it to secure, pool had black mold around the edges/walls at water level, maintenance arrived unannounced to install Roku on TVs, shortage of bath towels (not even one for every guest), furniture was old/beat up looking, hair dryer in master bedroom did not work, twin room says it sleeps 4 but furniture is in the way of accessing the trundle beds so really only sleeps 2, carpet was really dirty. All in all our stay was okay, but the price of the rental was high as the house was just not kept up as nice as others in the neighborhood.
