Great house!

The house is beautiful. While the listing does not say resort amenities are included it also doesn’t say that they are not (transportation, waterpark,etc). If that is important to you this may not be the right property for you. Needs some repairs but it is beautiful. Six adults and we had a ridiculous amount of space. .

Not quite ready for renters

First of all the home is magnificent. It is a mansion and gorgeous throughout. Unfortunately the home is being renovated and not quite ready for renters. The operations manager, Joel, was excellent. He was easy to reach and responded quickly. He worked hard to resolve issues but some things were simply beyond the scope of what he could do. We discovered that the house was just coming out of a large construction project to rebuild the upper balcony/deck. We discovered that we were actually the first renters in six months due to the construction work. We had several major issues. 1. It took three days to get wifi working. Once it was up and working with a HotSpot no further wifi problems. 2. We requested and prepaid for pool and spa heat. The first two days the water was cold. Problems with the heater we were told. The heat finally began to come up but then kept heating until the whole pool was heated to spa temperature. Finally, a conversation with the pool maintenance people disclosed that the heater needed to be replaced and the temperature could not be controlled. We simply ended up not using the pool and hope to be reimbursed. 3. The house has many wonderful high end appliances and technical equipment and features. But there is no binder with instructions for use. Even the toilets are Toto brand and have seats that automatically rise and are heated. They have built in bidets. No instructions. There’s a $6000 built in coffee maker with steam. No instructions.

Vacation in Kissimmee

Overall, our stay was good. 4 bedrooms were like suites with full bath, large closet and very good quality beds. The house was clean. At first everything was good. But we soon realized the previous reviews from previous renters, were 100% accurate. There is no Internet and they do not come to fix it even if we reported it twice. You can connect but there is no access. It never got fixed in the 10 days we were there. The AC didn't work all the times. At times the house got very warm and it would not turn on. I contacted the management company and they told me to turn the breakers on and off. That did not do anything. It really felt like it was set on timers as it would run at odd times and not when the house was warm. As for the pool area, there was no propane in the BBQ. We had to call to get it filled. They did come the same day, that was good. I sent an email through VRBO about 1 week before our stay to enquire about what to do to get the pool heated before we arrived (2 emails actually) and did not get a response. The hot tub is not hot and the pool was never heated. I didn't follow up because the weather was nice and the water temperature was good to cool off. As for the kitchen amenities, we really expected better. It's a house with 6 bedrooms. It's not a hotel. There wasn't one dishcloth, nothing to bake in the oven, one 5 inch cooking pan and no mittens/pot holders. Oh, and 2 wine glasses for 10 people just to name a few things.

Nice home but needs attention

The home is a beautiful home in a wonderful area. However, there were things that definitely needed some attention. Starting with the balcony that is leaning and you can see cracks on the underside right where the columns are holding it up. Needless to say, our family did not go out on the balcony for fear of it falling. There were some cleanliness issues in the master shower where there was buildup on the faucets and handles. The cold water on one of the master bathroom sinks would not work. Repair work was done on the walls around the sliding glass doors in the master bedroom but these weren’t painted over to match the rest of the room. One of the upstairs bathrooms had a handle that kept coming off. Little things like that but overall, it’s a lovely home. Our only real issue was that we did not have control over the AC unit. It was set at 75° and for our family that’s too warm at night. I called the Management company and requested that it be lowered to 70°, at least at night. After a night of not sleeping well, someone came out and lowered it but were only willing to go down to 72°. We lived with that. However, for some reason , our last full day there it was raised back up to 75° even though we weren’t due to check out until the next day. For the amount of money we paid, we should be able to be comfortable. If the balcony was secured, and the minor fixes taken care of and of course, we could control the AC ourselves, we would stay there again. But unless the changes I mentioned were made, we will be looking for a different place next visit. The safety issue of the balcony definitely needs to be addressed.

Awesome Place!

We had an incredible time staying in this lovely home. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities as well as all of the room to truly spread out. The only negative is that we were without the internet/WIFI the entire 6 days even after multiple calls/texts to management. We ended up using our own personal hotspots which was not the best, but at least we could watch television/movies/use internet on personal devices. You would think that there would have been an offer to compensate us for this, but nothing yet from management. Other than this, we would definitely choose this home again if all was in working order. Again, other than the internet, the place was fantastic! Thanks!

The place was nice but definitely needs some attention.

There are a lot of details that could make the place much nicer. Some light bulbs needed to be replaced, the smoke detector was chirping, there were no pot holders, and there are holes in some of the curtains. Again, some minor things that have been previously reported that just weren't addressed, but could make a difference if the owners took some time to care for the place. The maintenance people fixed some of the items during my stay, but more is needed. We enjoyed the theater and family time.

Disney with adult kids

Lovely home with all the space we needed and great group areas as well as rooms affording privacy. Management needs to respond to questions and issues and communicate better. Electrical sockets in one part of kitchen did not work and despite telling management this early in our stay we never heard back so had to move small appliances around. Top sheet missing from one bed and simple things like no toilet paper holders in some bathrooms were odd details that were missed because other things such as the luxurious beds and fancy neorest toilets were very high end. Others who had stayed at the property in January had complained the dryer didn’t work and the workman came during our stay with no advance call from management, which felt intrusive. Overall we loved the property and would definitely recommend it and stay again, but it could be spectacular with more attention to a few details.
