An Unforgettable Stay: Even a Hurricane Couldn’t Spoil It!

Where do I even start?! We stayed at Marauder’s Mansion during the week Hurricane Milton hit Florida, so our trip was a little more eventful than most. First off, the house and the host, Leslie, are fantastic! Her attention to detail in the decor blew us away. The game room was a huge hit, and we spent hours having skee ball tournaments—it quickly became a favorite. One minor issue we encountered was that the AC wasn’t working upstairs when we arrived. I let Leslie know, and she was super responsive. Unfortunately, being a weekend, we couldn’t get anyone out to fix it until Monday, but Leslie was great about compensating us for the inconvenience, and honestly, it didn’t end up being a big deal at all. On Monday, the talk of Hurricane Milton started to get more serious. We had to decide whether to pack up and drive the 15+ hours back to Philadelphia (with gas stations running out of fuel) or stay in the house, which was a little too close to the hurricane’s path for comfort. Throughout all of this, Leslie stayed in touch, making sure we felt supported no matter what we chose. In the end, we stayed—and I’m so glad we did! This house is definitely not a bad place to be stuck for a day and a half. We felt safe and never ran out of activities for both the kids and adults. Despite the unexpected challenges, we had an amazing vacation and have already been talking about when we can return. Without a doubt, we’d choose this house and host again!

SO MUCH FUN!!

The house was perfect for our multigenerational family trip. Plenty of room to spread out. Description is totally accurate. We used the pool and arcade daily between visits to parks as well as the community water park. Would book again.

Amazing House for Thanksgiving!

The house comfortably fit our 15 people for a Thanksgiving reunion. The kids loved the game room and theater room! I would definitely recommend this house for a stay.

My Family had an Amazing Time celebrating my Grandson 16th Birthday the Mansion was on point with the pool, hot tub theatre room plus all the club house amenities I have not 1 bad thing to say and our host was the best.

Absolutely Amazing!

This property is Absolutely Amazing!! I had a party of 11 (age range 4-70yo) and this house was everything we needed and more. There is not a detail that the host, Leslie, didn’t think of!! From strollers, child cups, outlet protectors and Instacart deliveries!! The hidden movie room was a hit!!! No one found it so we had a family meeting and surprised everyone with it…Instant Hit and Game Changer!!! Lol!! The pool and outdoor area was very nice!!! The covered pool, the seating area with the television and the night lights made the pool a place to be morning, noon and night when we didn’t have scheduled activities. The game room…Mega Hit with the children…if we couldn’t find a child/teen we knew we could find them in there!! The cleanliness of the property was top tier!! The decor was next level and the warmth of Leslie was second to none!! I could rave on and on about this property!! Thank You Leslie for making this trip one full of great memories for my family and I!!! We will remember this trip for years to come!!!

Perfect Vacation House

This house is perfect down to the most minute detail. Extremely clean, user friendly, and well organized. The host, Leslie, provides extensive information about the house, communicates well, and is very flexible and accommodating. We’ve used VRBO many times and this was the most problem-free stay we have ever had. Highly recommend!!!

Family Vacation

There were a total of 9 adults and 6 children under the age of 9. We all had a fabulous time at the house. The game room was a major hit with all ages as well as the pool and the theater room and the gaming area. We never lacked for something fun to do together at the house or we had room to separate from the crowd for some peace and quiet. I’ll try to upload a photo of our group along with Pete the pirate. We highly recommend the house and it’s location to the parks and entertainment in Orlando.

Big family, fun for everyone

We were a big group with a range of ages including an infant and toddler, kids, teens, adults, and a senior. Everything is warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. The house is immaculately clean and extremely well organized with labels making it easy to find what you need and put it away when you're finished. Everything is an arm's reach away, including dish and cookwear, pool toys, towels, and shampoo. If you are traveling with an infant, you only really need to bring food and a carseat. Our kids spent our entire resort day in the pool while the teens marathoned Harry Potter in the theater. Grandma loved the hot tub. Despite having the house close to capacity we never felt cramped or overcrowded. Just a word of warning, your kids will be begging you to leave the parks so they can get back to the house!

Absolutely Magical!

Okay, so this place is seriously amazing. I stayed with a group of friends and family. There were 13 of us in total. We had kids from ages 3-15 and everyone had a blast and something to do at the house. It’s about a 20-25 minute drive to the parks though you could plan a whole vacation just at this house :). Next time we come we will likely do just that. Such a unique vacation that will leave life long memories for my whole family. Our host Leslie was by FAR the best host I have ever dealt with at a rental. She was super accommodating, very responsive and so sweet to deal with. Seriously, not enough good things to say about this property. Thank you Leslie!

Best VRBO Stay Yet

I think it’s important to start by stating we have high standards. This was easily the nicest VRBO that we have ever stayed at. Leslie has seriously thought of everything. Extra hooks in the bathroom for ALL your family’s towels (not just the famous ONE behind the door) to kids plates/cups and utensils. Sure, the themed decor was absolutely fantastic but there’s a ton of themed housing in Orlando…. Accommodations went far beyond being beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need without looking and feeling like someone just moved out and left their old mix and match sets in overflowing hard to navigate cabinets. The cabinets are labeled and very well organized. All the appliances were clean and worked like they should. This house is well maintained, thoughtfully furnished and easily accommodated 3 families. (7 adults and 6 kids) Kids ages ranged from 1 to 17 and everyone had a blast. We will absolutely be staying here again when in the area. Thank you for taking pride in your rental and making it an enjoyable place for families to make memories.

Favorite Staycation

Our family had the best time here! From the communication with Leslie to the amenities, we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Everything in the home is so organized and family friendly. Stocked with kid cups, plates, even extra pack n play sheets and outlet covers (which seems small to some, but with a baby is Key!) Our kids loved every room- especially the Moana room, secret play hide out, and the Toy Story room/ball pit. We loved playing in the game room and watching TV in the theatre. The pool is perfect and the furniture is newer and very nice. We also ventured out to the clubhouse pool - which is walking distance! Great for all ages as it has the walk in/wade in pool and kids splash area. Everything in the home feels clean and cozy while also nicely decorated and fun for all ages!! We have stayed at many VRBO properties in the area over the last few years, and this far exceeded every property. Leslie is so responsive and organized, and while there we booked our second stay, and we cannot wait to make more memories here . We truly can’t say enough wonderful things!!

2023 family vacation

Absolutely an amazing house. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 6 busy children. It is great place to relax after spending time at parks or just hanging out there all day. Leslie, the owner and Que, the manager were both great to work with. Will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

10 STARS!!!

If I could give this property 10 stars I would! First off, Leslie was very attentive from the moment we booked our reservation to the moment we left. Leslie's care and thoughtfulness was one of kind. Secondly, the house, THE HOUSE! The pictures do no justice to what it was in real life. My family and I were in awe our entire stay. Leslie's attention to detail, beautiful and witty touches to every single space in the home was impeccable. We will truly miss this enchanting home and we hope to visit again in the future.

Exceeded our very high expectations in every way!

Marauder's Mansion far exceeded our expectations on every level. A beautifully designed home, with a fun & unique theme that is very well executed. Out of the numerous vacation properties we have stayed at this one felt the most like a home. Our 2 year old had a blast in the various play rooms, and I personally enjoyed the arcade! The theater is also one of the nicest you will find! Overall there were no details that were overlooked by Leslie at this home - from the great organization in the home (such as everything in the kitchen having a label and everything you could possibly need being there) to consistently great communication we were so happy with our choice to stay here. We can not recommend it enough and will be making this our go to for all our Disney trips!

Perfect Disney vacation home!

Marauder’s Mansion is amazing! We had the best time here. Everything was so cool, from the themed rooms to the secret theater room. There is even an arcade which was where my kids spent most of their time. Not only was the home amazingly decorated with so much attention to detail, it was also very clean and tidy. We loved it here and will definitely be back!

Our two families had a fabulous time staying at Marauder's Mansion. The house was spotless, well-organized and full of fun options to make the best memories. The homeowner, Leslie, has put a lot of thought into what families need, making them easily accessible. You will be in awe of the one-of-a-kind designs Leslie has come up with to make the house functional, fun and entertaining. Leslie was always easy to reach and happy to help. What a lovely hostess! Magical Maurader's Mansion - Even Better than Staying at Disney!

Our stay at Marauder's Mansion was AMAZING! The house was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-designed. It literally felt like we were staying on a Disney property it was that thoughtfully designed. The game rooms, pool, and themed rooms pushed it over the top and made for such a fun vacation experience for our family (not an easy feat with teenagers). Our host Leslie was not only attentive and friendly but was so great about answering our exhaustive list of questions :) We'd stay here again any time and highly recommend it to anyone going on a Disney World vaca!!

Awesome Family Vacation

This house was seriously amazing! The kids had a blast and did not want to leave. We had 5 children, ages 1-3 and one child age 8. Although the children ages 1-3 were a little too small to use the arcade, the adults definitely made up for that. The classic games in there made it very nostalgic for us. Our host, Leslie, was amazing with communication and answered all questions so quickly. Small hiccup with the heated pool (weather was too cold to heat) but she sent someone out to check it very quickly! She was so sweet and very attentive to any questions I had while we were there and even before our trip. The amenities that were offered (baby monitors, strollers, high chairs, etc.. ) were so nice and very convenient for our family. We stayed most of our time at the house because there was so much to do! We were very close to the Clubhouse Pool, which was nice to be able to walk there in less than 5 minutes (with 5 children). The Clubhouse was extremely busy so I would recommend getting their early to find a spot to sit. Other than that, we had an absolute blast the entire time! If we ever find ourselves back in the area, we will be booking this home!
