Great Ski Weekend

We are a 14. It was nice to have accommodations that were comfortable for everyone. The large kitchen made it easy to prepare meals for a large group. The Vrbo website needs to be more user friendly. Compared to other websites out there, it needs an overhaul.

Orignal North Hatle

Met our needs perfectly. The industrial kitchen and the rain showers in all the bathrooms were a great hit with my teen grandchildren and my adult chef grandson.Two minor issues. The blinds in the bedrooms do not have nice shade capability. I like to sleep in darkness. The other issue is the fireplace. We expected it to be cleaned and ready for use.

A joyful family gathering in charming North Hatley

Following a Celebration of Life for a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and all-around great guy, the family gathered in North Hatley for a week of ‘down-time’. We rented this wonderful property and were blown away by the quality of the rooms, bathrooms, showers, chef’s kitchen, gathering/eating areas and outdoor dining area. It was just a terrific place to stay. Hugo was awesome communicating with us and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!

Perfect for Family Get-Away

We had such an amazing stay in North Hatley during the Canada Day week and will definitely be back again. Pros: Communication with Hugo was excellent. Always prompt and informative. The property had great amenities. All rooms but one had a bathroom and the showers were amazing. The kitchen had a spacious refrigerator and separate freezer to accommodate a large number of people. A modern Washer/ Dryer is included. Huge TV for a rainy day. The location was perfect. One block from Main Street with wonderful shops and restaurants. A three minute walk to the water for swimming and boating. Kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles were provided by the property to help take full advantage of the location. The outdoor space was large and well equipped for lounging and eating en plein air. If it had rained, there was plenty of room inside for relaxing. Cons: We had a little trouble figuring out the temperature. The downstairs bedroom got a bit hot. The BBQ grill was a bit battered by the elements but there is a top notch stove with grill in the kitchen. All in all, we had a wonderful time.

Magnifique chalet, emplacement de choix

C’est notre 2e séjour dans ce chalet, nous adorons tout simplement! Très spacieux, très propre, très bien équipé et une cuisine fantastique que ce soit pour des repas en toute simplicité ou des évènements. La terrasse est très belle, grande et intime. Nous serons de retour l’an prochain c’est certain!

Perfect Eclipse Accommodations

We stayed as a large group with adults and kids to view the April, 2024 eclipse. The accommodations were top notch. Everything was very clean, there were plenty of towels, and bedrooms had recently renovated and nicely appointed private bathrooms (really, it's hard to stress how many bathrooms there are in this place!). The kitchen has industrial appliances: an enormous fridge, a giant standing freezer, a huge gas range, an enormous amount of cutlery and dishes, and a dishwasher that runs cycles in only 2 minutes (!!!!). This place is made to feed the masses, which was great for our large group. The hosts were quick and responsive to e-mails. The checkout process was quick and easy. Note that parking on premises was a little tricky with a lot of cars (5 - I think up to 4 is probably fine), but the elementary school parking lot across the street and street parking are also available. The house is across from the elementary school which has a small playground, and a short walk from the North Hatley "downtown" which has a cafe, pub, and nice chocolatier (they had really delightful truffles). It's also a short walk from the public sauna, and another little park with a playground and access to a rail trail. A public waterfront is across the street. We had spectacular weather to view the eclipse, but even if we didn't, this would have been a great place to spend the weekend with family and friends.

Perfect base for a family reunion

We had several days in North Hatley for a family reunion and this was a perfect space for us- lots of space both indoors and outdoors to visit, plus everyone had the privacy of their own rooms and bathrooms (I’m still amazed at how many bathrooms there are!). The maple syrup was a lovely touch.

Rencontre familiale entre frères et sœurs

Weekend mémorable

Nous arrivons d’un weekend entre amis dans ce magnifique chalet. Tout était parfait et le chalet est extrêmement bien équipé avec plusieurs jeux sur place et une vraie cuisine de chef. Tout le monde a très bien dormi. Les chambres étaient très confortables et c’est vraiment tranquille. On a aussi pu profiter de la belle terrasse. Nous reviendrons assurément!

Parfait pour un gros groupe avec enfants

Très gros chalet avec 7 chambres fermées. 6 chambres ayant leurs propres salle de bain fraîchement rénovées! Énorme cuisine comme dans un restaurant avec l'équivalent de 4 frigos et un grand congélateur vertical, machine Nespresso industrielle avec capsules fournies! Gros système de son et karaoke. Plusieurs jeux de société. Les chambres sont loin de la salle commune/salon et donc les enfants peuvent bien dormir malgré le bruit de nos soirées d'adultes... Les propriétaires sont très disponibles. Réponse très rapide à nos questions et ils sont très gentils et courtois. Le seul bémol est que le chalet n'est pas situé dans la nature mais nous avons bien apprécié les alentours...parc pour enfant, patinoire et petites randonnées en montagne à distance de marche. Épicerie et dépanneur à 2-5 min à pieds. On recommande sans hésitation!
