Mostly perfect

Location was fantastic. Inside was very clean. Super grateful for the stock of beach chairs, boogie boards, and almost everything we needed to keep the place picked up. Only recommendation is to weed the front porch area. Would come again!

Nice- but not wonderful.

First off, the location is great. Beach is just 4 houses away. But there are a few things that need to be addressed. 1) the garage remote does not want to work so it takes several tries to get open/closed. 2) The abandoned refrigerator and construction debris only gave you a couple feet of walking space to the front door. 3) The furnace door in the unit has NO closing function (door knob, latch etc) therefore was always open in the hallway. NO safe at all for children. 4) LAUNDRY IS COIN-OP!!! Bring your quarters because the washer/dryer is shared with the above unit in the garage and requires quarters. Only $1 each wash, $1 to dry but who carries quarters around anymore!! So that was a hassle getting change. 5) On the day we left it was raining and the entire front window was leaking on to the back of the couch and puddled on the tile floor. Had to use all our dirty towels to mop up so the kids wouldn't slip. Management was notified immediately on the leak..cuz whoa! Something was indeed in need of repair there. All-in-all we had a good stay just some issues we didnt want to deal with for the cost of the weekly rental.

So close to the beach!!

We loved being in this house with such a quick walk to the beach, the house was clean and had everything we needed for fun days at the beach. The beach itself was beautiful and clean and perfect for our young family.

Location was fanstastic, the house was FILTHY

The condo was nice and the location was fantastic, but I spent the first day and a half of my vacation with my family dealing with disgusting cleanliness issues. The first thing we noticed as we were exploring the property was the love seat that looked as though someone sat there wet and naked; I don't know what type of fluid it was that was on the cushion but it was there to see (we had to eventually cover the main couch with a sheet to feel relaxed). In the kitchen there is an electric stove with grease rings baked onto the surface, crumbs were left behind the sink, and the plates provided were covered in grease. The bathroom was clean but there was BLOOD on the door frame. Considering it was a bathroom, I'm not sure what type of blood it was, but I wasn't interested in guessing. At this point, my fiancee is completely skeeved out about even standing in the house, and I tried to calm her down and assured here that these were no big deal things, and for sure, the linens were changed and clean. So she checked the bed we'd be sleeping in, and yes, the sheets were changed but the pillows and the pillow cases were completely disgusting. One pillow looked like there was blood on the pillow itself, since you could see a rust-colored spot through the pillow case, another had a dirt spot, there was another one with a black ring around it, and the last one I pulled out and the pillow was literally yellow from someone else's sweat and drool. Why there were no internal pillowcases that could be washed is beyond me. As we were looking though the property our son (2.5 yrs), was exploring and being a little ray of sunshine, but he was clearly bored so I went to turn on the TV for him. I opened the "Everything in this bag is sanitized" bag for the remote and it literally had finger gunk all over it because it wasn't even wiped. I was on the phone with management, who were apologetic, but also texted at MIDNIGHT to ask me which bed was dirty. At 830 the next night, they provided new pillows, but they were left outside the door with no notice, and I only happened to find them heading out to grill- I could've just as easily been inside for the night and not even known they were there. During a pandemic, the last thing I want to see is filth from a stranger, and now both my fiancee and I are feeling sick. Our time was ruined, and it's disappointing to write all of this. I have pictures for any who wish to see that I'm not overreacting or making this up.

Not necessarily a quiet area at all. Upstairs sounded like they were playing football at times. Next door neighbor upstairs yelled alot. Unfortunately last night was the worst.

Comfortable, quiet stay

This home was a very lovely surprise. Very clean, roomy, had everything one would need for a short or long term stay. The neighborhood is quiet, but it is a short walk to restaurants and shops. The fireplace was a nice amenity as well. I had a small issue, and the rental company responded and took care of it very quickly. I would highly recommend this home for a stay at the beach!

Great place to stay

We had a great time in CA. The garage was a huge bonus. Great location to the beach and the condo had everything we needed. We rented bikes the entire time we were there. The unit was very clean and had coin operated washer dryer in the garage and lots of beach toys to use.

Good stay

The only thing I would mention is the check in was super late. Normally with late check ins the property would be available sooner that the said check in time, but the garage code and door code to get in were completely different than what the property manager sent in an email. Then I locksmith had to come to change it. Other than that, everything was great!

Great location

Overall we had a great time at this property. Only complaint was the garage was not available to us as advertised. The code didn't work to get in from day one. I left voicemails and sent a text message for some help but never received a response. Lack of communication and parking were the only part of our trip that was really disappointing.

Amazing Location to Really get a Feel for OC Beach Living!

It has always been a dream of mine to stay down in Newport near the Jetties to surf and have the experience of being steps to the sand. The house did not disappoint. It was very comfortable and felt recently updated. I was surprised to see the fireplace was wood burning, it appeared to be a gas insert in the photos, but I guess still usable if you wanted. Some of the kitchen utensils were quite used, but we were still able to use them. Also and issue at check in with the wrong entry code was provided, thankfully I was able to reach a staff member and get the correct code. With all that said, I would totally come back and stay at this property again! Thanks for the great experience!

Beautiful Relaxation just off the Beach

The property is overall very nice and well maintained. The beds are super comfy and cozy. The beach is a stones throw away and is gorgeous. We did however have issues with the grills which are old and not properly working and the fact that the essentials are bare minimum. There are no throws or blankets on the sofas or in the living area or in any closet, toilet paper was limited, and who has a coffee pot with no filters? We would gladly stay at the property again, however a few bare essentials would be nice.

Nice, clean place in a good location

The place is clean, nice and in a perfect location. It’s literally a 90 second walk to the beach. While this place suited our needs and served us well, it was ultimately just another rental. Reminded me of what rental properties were 15 years ago before AirBnB and VRBO. They provide the absolute bare minimum. A handful of cheap dishes and silverware and that’s about it. For toiletries, they provide 1 mini hotel shampoo and 1 mini hotel bar of soap. For 4 people and 3 nights that’s clearly not enough. We had to go to the store to buy everything (just like 15 years ago at beach rentals). Overall, the place was nice, clean and in a good location. It served its purpose. It just go beyond the bare minimum.

Had a nice time

This was a very nice house in a great neighborhood. Overall my experience was very positive, but I do have a very significant suggestion for the owner: it is flawed to allow the occupants in the 2nd floor unit to have access rights to the patio area. When this occurs the people are 2 ft from the living room, and my wife and I didn't even feel comfortable opening the blinds or even being in the living room. For sure, the patio should be exclusive ONLY to the downstairs unit guests.

Overall very nice and we had a wonderful time

Only complaints are: • the email said 6 beach chairs would be provided, there was only 1 • tub would drain very slowly so that you were always standing in water up to your ankles • towel racks were broken so that only 1 was available...6 people showering daily with 1 towel rack did not work well • fan in bathroom was not working
