Wasn’t pleased
We arrived to the location it was a very nice neighborhood as well as beautiful views of the beach from every room in the home. This was my honeymoon stay and we got married in Galveston as well. The home was very beautiful and appeared to be clean and tidy when entering the home you could smell dogs pretty strong so we went to buy candles and that worked out. The floors were absolutely disgusting took my socks off at the bed walked to restroom and my feet were black on the bottom. The half bathroom Reeked of urine as well as you could see the dried up spots on the floor. The couches and pillows smelled so horrible I had to lay a sheet over the couch to even sit on it. Wanted to wash the sheets before I slept in the bed since the home was clearly dirty and it took 3 hours to dry a load. So that wasn’t fun. As for the home it was beautiful and could have been an amazing stay I definitely recommend a deep clean on the property as well as have a professional steam cleaning company come clean the couches. I feel like the owners have a contractor that comes and cleans I truly feel no one would allow their property to be this dirty and have the knowledge. We were also under the impression there was a hot tub and we were excited it was pretty cold out. After booking we were made aware the hot tub was not working. All in all I definitely recommend this property and would go back as long as the home had been cleaned and couches were cleaned !
