Wonderful Get A Way!

Exactly the way it was advertised was the exact way it was in person. We stayed during mass flooding of the Sinclair Lake and we never had any issue. We stayed completely dry and enjoyed all the amenities! The open concept made it perfect for family togetherness and conversation. We would highly recommend this property to all.

Just right for relaxing getaway with toddler.

Our toddler grandson could not have enjoyed himself more. It was cool and rainy and alot of our time was spent inside but that was okay. He ran and ran and ran in circles. The house is perfect for that. The porch has gates on all three sstassstassstairsoooopopopeningsmuch

Great lake views and house!

The house was very well appointed and CLEAN!!! Lake views were amazing and the owner offers a lot of extras! Kayaks, paddle boards, large tvs in every room, hot tub and a gated deck for our dog! Easy check in and out

Shallow part of lake

Great accomodations. Roomy. Fishing from dock was not good. Only able to catch very small fish that were smaller than my hand. One person used the kayak to travel to deeper water and caught 2 fish. Would book again for house, but not for fishing.

it would only take a little bit to move to great. a little attention to the outside decks would have went a long way. Hot tub was full of debris and had not be sweep off in weeks. Inside was very nice and views were great of the lake. Neighbors were amazing to help us out.

Relaxing vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on the lake! It was the cheapest vacation we have ever had because we didnt need to leave. They had kayaks, paddleboards and a hot tub that we all enjoyed! We were also close to hiking at the Effigy trails but were quite far from anything else (restaurants, grocery store). There were a few repairs that were needed but nothing that interferred with our stay!

Great place right on the lake

Graduation celebration GCSU

It was great for the graduate, her sibling and cousin, parents, and grandparents. Nice decor and outdoor spaces as well. Note: there is no recycling, so haul it out with you. There was ample “things you might forget” such as garbage bags, bug spray, sponges,etc. Do not use WAZE to get there. Use apple or Google maps!

Peaceful

We had the absolute best time! The house was very nicely decorated and just homey.. Located on a peaceful shallow cove. The water level did not bother us with the bass boat we had, but the owner had a canal dug out in front of the dock that helped. The neighbors Mr. Joe and his wife were the sweetest ever. It was the best evening to sit in the back porch, grill steaks, sit in the hot tub and watch T.V. We very much enjoyed our peaceful get away weekend, and will be back with our kids this summer.

FAMILY SPRING BREAK

this property was EXACTLY what we expected! The listing was true in every way. The place was VERY CLEAN and everything was there for what we needed. Traveling from Ohio we wanted a restful location with all the amenities. The owner responded to questions immediately and we had no issues besides the weather not being warmer for us to enjoy more outdoor activities. Very easy checking in and checking out.

Weekend Get-Away

This place is an amazing spot to get away from it all! My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay! The property was well kept up, and you have an amazing view of the lake! We will definitely be back again!

Fine stay; Not great lake access

This house has potential, but unfortunately, it missed the mark for our stay. It is obvious that the home had some renovations, which make the inside well appointed. However, the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathrooms was subpar. There was also a “neighborhood cat” that seemed to only be on our porch for the entire stay. There were food and water bowls left out on the porch and the cat would follow us down to the dock and try to get in the house. The cat was friendly, but it would have been nice to have been made aware of this since 2 guests on the trip are allergic. There was a major issue with the water access. We were unable to use the dock/water for a whole day due to this problem. Thankfully the owner of the home was very responsive and tried his best to help resolve the issue. However, the water access is not exactly as pictured. It’s shallow water and quite murky. Overall, we did make the best of our stay and we are grateful for the property owner’s responsiveness.

Weekend getaway

The steps to the deck were steep and narrow which made unloading and loading difficult. Also the steps are very slick when wet and only one step had a grip strip. The house is very nice. We enjoyed the hot tub. The water was very low, only about a foot in front of the boat house. We were unable to drive our boat to the boathouse because of the water being so low. The cove was quiet. We would not stay here again because of the water being so low.
