Aubenaubee Lodge, propiedad familiar de Ball del lado este histórico

Esta gran cabaña histórica del lago se construyó por primera vez como casa de botes y cabaña de pesca alrededor de 1900. Se encuentra justo en el lago en una gran propiedad en medio de la costa este histórica, con capacidad para 13 personas con nuestras 5 habitaciones. Hay 2 grandes mesas de comedor con capacidad para 20 personas, lo que lo convierte en un espacio maravilloso para familias o grupos de amigos.
Relájese en el gran porche cubierto y disfrute de nuestro enorme césped para tomar el sol y divertirse. El nuestro es uno de los pocos campos de césped que dan al lago, por lo que es fácil mirar y jugar con sus hijos, ya que puede acceder al lago desde aguas profundas hasta los tobillos. Puedes nadar, tomar sol, pescar y jugar desde el final del muelle en aguas hasta la cintura. Tenemos un elevador de botes que podemos poner a disposición para alquilar si desea traer o alquilar un bote desde los puertos deportivos. También tenemos juguetes acuáticos, flotadores y un kayak para su disfrute. ¡El lago es ideal para esquiar y hacer tubing, y la navegación y las puestas de sol del lado este no pueden ser vencidas!
Las Academias Culver están a unos 5 minutos en coche de nuestra casa y a 7 minutos de la ciudad, donde puedes encontrar varios restaurantes maravillosos, un antiguo puesto de cerveza de raíz y una gran playa pública y parque infantil.
También estamos a 5 minutos en coche del puerto deportivo de Culver, donde puede alquilar botes, cenar en su bar o parrilla al aire libre y comprar en sus increíbles tiendas de ropa y deportes de lago.

También hay una nueva cabaña que comparte la propiedad y el muelle, y está disponible para alquilar y para 8 personas (ver Ball Family New Cottage en los listados de Culver). ¡Es posible que desee alquilar ambos para una reunión aún más grande!

One of a kind place to stay

We loved our time at this wonderful house! The rooms were lovely, the history so evident in the house was fascinating, and the beautiful location on the lake was superb. Our guests were gobsmacked by the charm. Janet was as great a host as we’ve ever had. And we rented the pontoon boat - which made the weekend extra special for us. We highly recommend the Aubenaubee Lodge!

On lake time…

A very relaxing week with family! A great place to stay full of history ! Plenty of space to spread out or to gather ! An amazing dkning room and screened porch. We had wonderful weather and several opportunities to use the pontoon boat.

Great stay at Aubenaubee Lodge

Aubenaubee Lodge was perfect for our family visit. The owner, Janet, was great at communicating with us and made us feel very comfortable staying at her house. She even reached out to us when there was severe weather to make sure everything was in order. We found all of the rooms fit our needs perfectly. Everything was clean and orderly, and gave the feel a being at home at the lake. We also had use of the pontoon boat that was so convenient for use on the lake. We look forward to visiting Culver again and Aubenaubee Lodge will be our top choice. We can't thank Janet enough for sharing her property..

Great lake getaway

60th Anniversary Celebration

This was our second time staying in this home, and we enjoyed it so much, again. My mother grew up on Lake Maxinkuckee and my parents were married in Culver, so it was a beautiful place to celebrate their 60th anniversary with the whole family. We love how this house sits right at the water level, so there are not a bunch of stairs to navigate to get to the dock. We also rented the pontoon boat that was available. Unfortunately we had a windy week and were only able to use it a few times, but it was fun when we did. The family enjoyed the lake and the home. We had everything we needed.

Wonderful week enjoying lake life

Culver 2023

The property is comfortable and very accommodating for a family of seven adults and two infants under the age of 3. The side yards are extensive and invite outdoor activities and lunches. Bedrooms are ample and comfortable. Common rooms are plentiful and the screen porch a natural setting. The house, while on the older side, is full of tradition and comfort ( had a hard time not to nap while reading in the comfortable chairs!).

Parents Weekend 2023

Extremely helpful and considerate hosts. The house has all we needed - including historical character. There is plenty of room for socializing coupled with sufficient privacy when needed (when travelling with friends). This is our third time staying at Aubenaubee - and look forward to many more.

Wonderful Lake Vacation

Great property that comfortably fit our family. Host is excellent communicator and planner. Very flexible and accommodating. Minor issue resolved swiftly and professionally. Access to lake is phenomenal with great lake side yard and plenty of room. Kayaks were a real treat and much appreciated. Lot's of refrigerator space made meal planning easy. Extra large dining table made large family meals and game playing easy and fun. We would definitely come back! Beautiful lake side home with lots of charm and space.

Wonderful lake house

Lake cottage worth so much more than you’ll pay…

This property has equal amounts of centennial charm and modern “necessities.” The cottage is huge, with each bedroom bringing its own charm and spacious abundance, including beautiful bedding, art and historic nostalgia about the family and Culver. I swear we spent hours just looking over all the art, googling info and learning so much more about this once boat house and it’s evolution to a large lake side cottage, that brings many spaces for gathering, warming and simply enjoying the breaking rumble of Lake Max’s small waves. It was way more than we expected and was a lovely closing to a great Culver anniversary weekend. We will be back… and bring more family. We appreciated the opportunity to stay at this family cottage.

Lovely stay

Location on lake is perfect and close to town. The house is charming with lots of history and plenty of room. And fireplace. The tree swing was a hit with the 9 year old staying with us and pontoon rental was added bonus. Janet was incredibly accommodating and very easy to contact

Perfect for Wedding Weekend

Absolutely lovely old house that we wouldn't changed her vintage charm for anything. The homeowner, Janet, was extremely attentive and made sure my wife and I had everything we needed for our long weekend. Us and our wedding party (9 adults total) found the house to have plenty of room to spread out! Bedrooms are bigger than they look in the pictures. Parking is limited so plan ahead.

Beautiful lake home!

Beautiful old lake home was perfect for our family reunion. Loved the big spaces to gather for eating and playing games. We really liked being able to walk right out to the lake and dock with no stairs. Great grass area for the kids to play. The owner was easy to work with and replies/responds quickly.

We have stayed at this property twice before and it only gets better. The children and grandchildren know what to expect they love the rooms -they love the historic quality of the home -they love the swing -they love the big front and side yard where they can play corn hole or frisbee or catch baseballs! Janet and Richard are excellent hosts . We love the opportunity to rent a boat! We love the views of the lake from the east shore! We love the sunsets! There are just too many positive things that I am missing.

Picturesque setting

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this home. Plenty of space for two families of 5 to spread out. The views are unbelievable. As described, the cottage is a historical home, and it was fun to learn pieces of this during our stay. This was just what we were looking for and we would definitely return.

Lake Life Perfecttion

The Aubenaubee Lodge is an amazing gem on the east shore. It is an older home that perfect for family gatherings. The home is well equipped for a large number of people. The yard had plenty of room for the kids to run around. The tree swing was very popular. We loved being able to swim right off the dock. Everyone loved having a kayak available, it got plenty of use while we were there. Without a doubt there is no better place to watch the sunset. Looking forward to planning another stay.

Lake Max family time!

We had a great family time having two families the first week and one family the second week. The owner was very helpful and the history of the cottage and family was very interesting. Great cottage and Great Lake. We appreciated the shore stations for our boats.
