The house and property was beautiful!! Great quiet area. The residence is close to downtown Birmingham, 15 minutes. Plenty room for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked with platea utensils, and pans!!

Clean, cozy, and relaxing!!

We stayed for a baseball tournament. The house was perfect for the 3 families. There were plenty of sleeping options for a house with 3 bedrooms, there were extra air mattresses, and places to put them for people to sleep. We had enough space the we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The back yard was very refreshing after a day at the ballpark! Parents and kids enjoyed the pool!! The house is close to many food options and the highway to get to many things. We would definitely stay here again. Julie the host was very kind, and quick to respond to needs and questions.

Alabama Trip

House was very neat and in a decent location. We were close to all the attractions we wanted to see. Communication with hosts was great and check in/out was easy. Would love to stay in the summer and use the pool.

Needs up keep!

Needs a lot of cleaning! Tub was filthy, unable to give infant a bath due to scum in tub. only used shower. Was a fire waiting to happen. Numerous extension cords plugged into one another and draped all around house (trip hazzards too) Tile by front door area broken away, big pieces missing, when walking barefoot cut foot, also big enough for trip hazzard. I say location was good, just needs some up keep.

Surgical Recovery

This is a great property! Lovely views from the big windows. Great vacation spot for families in the summer. We really enjoyed it, until our downstair neighbors began blasting music for two nights. No, I didn’t call Julie, it would have caused trouble. My husband was recovering from surgery & had no peace. So we left early & came home.

Cozy Mid Century Modern

My family enjoyed this cozy mid century modern gem. We loved gathering by the pool and the beautiful, expansive yard. The soft lighting made the atmosphere special while hanging out on the comfortable sectional couch in the living room. My daughter had some work to catch up on and was able to use the office right off the living room so she could still be connected to the rest of the family. The bedding was comfortable and house was super quiet and so we were well rested for the day. Would definitely stay again!

Just as advertised

I really enjoyed this house, it was perfect for our family and it was just as advertised. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the smell of the house. While you could tell it was clean, the house had a moldy, musty smell. The A/C did not circulate as it should and the smell was very strong as soon as you came in the door. It was as also kind of stuffy at night. Other than that, Julie was very quick to respond and we had no issues. Our family enjoyed the pool and the overall stay.

Loved it!

We had a fantastic stay!! Julie was wonderful! The house was beautiful and spotless. We floated in the pool for two days and had many options for meals and shopping close by. We look forward to staying in “the birdhouse” again and again. Thank you!

Comfy cozy

Our stay was great….it was perfect for my granddaughter and a couple of her teammates for a 3 day softball clinic…. And my daughter and myself….Just 15 min drive to complex…the house was wonderful…. Clean… comfy beds….stocked with everything you could need…. Just bring clothes and groceries….the outdoor space was beautiful and so relaxing and full of nature…..the house was comfy cozy…..just felt like home. Julie was quick to respond and sent us all the info we needed and check in was a breeze. Would stay again if needed a place in that area.

Clean and comfortable

The house was clean and confortable until check in email . I didn't realize it had an apartment being rented because it's in the narrative of listing and easily overlooked. They could be heard playing music downstairs. Location was convenient for the stay with plenty of local ammenities close by. Check in was difficult as we didn't receive our door code. It was cold and raining while being outside trying to reach the owner for help. Had to call vrbo hotline for help. Once I was able to reach the owner after about 30 to 45 minutes the code wouldn't work but the situation was finally corrected that day. The code stopped working again a few days later and had to reach out to get let in at night time.

Great Stay!

It was an overall great stay, however the lower unit had about 12 people at one point, a dog and a baby, so we did have to sleep on the couch to get enough quiet to be able to sleep.
