Lovely Stone Mountain Get Away
The property is a beautiful, spacious house in a lovely, private community of mature homes. The first floor contains a spacious formal living room and dining room, a beautifully updated and appointed kitchen, a laundry room, powder room, and a spacious family room with fireplace and large screen tv. The upstairs has three large bedrooms. The master has an ensuite and walk in closet. The bathrooms are updated with beautiful finishes. Overall, it's a lovely and immaculate house situated in a park-like setting. Just a few downsides that keep this property from being a 5 star. The master bedroom does not have a tv. This is a huge con for me because I love to watch tv when I'm away from home and before I go to sleep. The large TV in the family room was nice but I couldn't find any live tv channels, so I could keep up with the current news, etc. Apparently, the owner lives in the unit on the lower level. Did not have any interaction with the owner which was fine. The only issue with someone being in the lower level was a very loud cat that was down there and made screaming noises periodically. Until I figured out it was a cat in the lower level of the house, I was trying to figure out what that noise was. At first I thought it was somebody outside crying for help, then I thought it was an animal outside making a lot of noise. I would definitely stay here again if they would put a tv with access to cable or local live tv channels in the master bedroom and train the cat to be quieter.
