Amazing location in beautiful Annapolis
This home has been lovingly restored with very nice touches throughout all the rooms, including granite counters, new paint, nice living room furniture and accessories. The little touches that are found in the living spaces are very fitting a naval town and we really enjoyed discovering all this home held in each room.
It was well-stocked for early days with enough to get started with dish washing and laundry, TP and paper towels. Very clean!
Parking, as noted in the listing, was off-site.
The location was just perfect—the US Naval Academy was steps away, and a couple minutes’ walk from downtown Annapolis (a very walkable town itself).
The historic nature of the home meant that, while there was AC, it is room units in the windows. The bathrooms were very hot without ventilation. As well, there was a dehumidifier downstairs which needed to be emptied multiple times a day or the entire first floor would be stagnant and moist. We didn’t know about this. I ended up having to learn also about how to clean the dehumidifier filter on YouTube because it shut down a couple days into our stay. After my tutorial and cleaning the filter, all good and back to emptying the bucket several times a day (more during rainy days!)
There was also an issue with the included parking pass when we arrived. This took multiple days to resolve, but did get sorted by the time we got home finally.
Overall, we would recommend this house and enjoyed our stay.
