Great Location

We checked in at 8 pm at night, it was cold and snowing and the code didn’t work, we had to log in the internet and call for help. The call kept dropping. They had to reset the lock and 20 min we were inside, The third night it happened again, I said it’s as though the lock needed batteries. It was unfortunately frustrating. I wish they would improve this. Aside from that - The house was comfortable. One full bath up and one down. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen seemed well stocked for what we needed. I liked the location a lot. Would return.

Great location, awesome view, nice home!

We (5 adults) loved staying in Yosemite West within the park gates - just a 25 min drive to Tunnel View. The home was nice, the view was excellent, and the sauna worked! Would recommend. Make sure you grab groceries on the way in (no restaurants around).

Perfect place to stage and extended Yosemite trip!

Place was great. Spa was awesome. Gas fireplace was a nice touch. Beds were comfortable. Could use a couple new skillets. Communication with the host Vacasa was not up to the standard of past stays in properties they host but it did not impact the experience in any way.

Birthday family adventure

The house had everything we needed for our family group of 7. We cooked our meals, spent evenings on the deck making smores in the fire pit and drove to yosemite valley and wawona for hikes each day ( about 30 minutes to each). We also loved peaceful mornings on the deck! We would come back again!

This was a wonderful cabin in Yosemite! The views around the property were gorgeous! The sauna was so special. Clean. Cozy fire. Nice big dining room table for our family of 7. Just a note that the master bedroom upstairs shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with one other room. Showers were a bit tricky, but there was another shower downstairs. It snowed one night we were there and was gorgeous the next morning! Thankfully we brought chains because our mini van couldn’t make it up one of the streets there as we were leaving to get to the valley, so if you travel here during snow season make sure to bring chains. We left a very important item there and thankfully they were able to return it to us. Would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful retreat in the perfect location

We loved out time at this retreat house. It was so peaceful and the view was stunning. The location was wonderful, near enough to drive to good walks but far enough to feel secluded and away from tourists. The house had everything we needed. The hammock on the balcony was a treat! The beds were so comfortable. We didn't want to leave. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Family time at its best

Clearing off the obvious initially: Cleanliness - spotless, Accuracy - perfect, Location - right in the park so could not be better. We loved this house for my two elderly parents, my 2-year-old and my wife. Houe is not too big and not too small, just enough and cozy. The park provides enough things to do, and the house provides enough bonding time with the family. The kitchen is very well stocked but get enough supplies to be able to take advantage of it. Get ready to leave your electronic connections away and spend time with what is important in life.

Great West Yosemite house

If you want easy access to Yosemite valley floor Yosemite West is the place to be. This house is approximately 25 to 30 minutes to the Yosemite valley floor. The owners have set up the house with everything that you’ll need. From kitchen gear to other household supplies, and even sleds, it is all provided. It’s more like staying at a friends or family members house rather than your normal VRBO rental. The owners reached out before and during our stay to ensure that we had everything we needed. The wifi is better than other Yosemite houses we have stayed at, though still mountain wifi. Do know that the three upstairs bedrooms share one bathroom (jack n jill bathroom between master and queen bedroom). The second full bathroom is downstairs. Also there’s no access to a washer/dryer if that’s important. Beyond that we highly recommend this house, owner, and location for your next Yosemite trip

Beautiful updated cabin in Yosemite

Really nice updated cabin. I had one simple request and they were accommodating. What I appreciated the most was the request to remove shoes in the mud room. Maybe not all guests do this but it sure seemed that for the most part they do. It gives that home feeling. Everything was really nice and clean.

The home was clean, decorated beautifully, a gorgeous deck with a view to dream of often. The stars were amazing. The spices, oils, plastic bags, etc. were all there. Just bring the food.

Too Awesome

This home was the perfect fit for our needs and the size of our party of five. We came to hike and view the awesomeness that is Yosemite. At night we returned to cook dinner, relax and enjoy the sunsets and the stars from the porch. Wow! Eating breakfast on the porch and watching doe mule deer and their fawns walk across the property in front of us was a blast. Very comfortable beds and linens. More towels than you find in hotels. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was immaculate. The air conditioning is a major plus in the summer when more westerly faced homes can be very hot, especially if they do not have AC. We thank Jeff, Melissa and the Karapetian family for their hospitality and warm communications. We have become frequent visitors to Yosemite. We would not hesitate to book again.

Wonderful Getaway

The location of this property is great for seeing all parts of the park. Inside, the house is lovely and one of the most well-stocked rental homes we’ve ever used. I really had no need to communicate with the managers, so that’s the only element I can’t really evaluate. The info about cell service was right, though. There’s no reception for AT&T in the area. It’s good to be aware of that going in.

Best VRBO ever! We would come again in a heartbeat.

We loved this place! Great location with easy central access to the Valley, Glacier Point and Mariposa. While unassuming on the outside - it is beautifully decorated inside, well-kept, well-stocked in all bathrooms and kitchen supplies fabulous. Every time we needed an extra stock item, we would find it in the pantry! They made renting easy and feel like home. Beds very comfy. Living area is spacious (we had 7 adults and felt very comfortable). Wrap around back deck is great for morning coffee and evening sunsets with a glimpse of the impressive valley below. Easy check-in and check-out process. Great communication by property managers throughout booking and stay.

Perfect Location, Wonderful Home!

Everything about the home was excellent! It had all we needed for a quick four-night mini-vacation. From the deck overlooking the valley we saw several deer, a bear, multiple squirrels and birds. Gazing at the stars at night was unbelievable! Something I miss now that I'm living in the city. My two grandsons (ages 8 and 2) had a great time, enjoying the hikes and an introduction to nature. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We hope to visit again!

Deck clinched it for me. Great stay.

I highly recommend this property. Quiet neighborhood is not IN the valley, but a great location in the park. My daughter gave us the big bedroom with the view. Clean, well equipped, with many delightful touches such as stacks of fluffy white towels, plentiful nice soaps, deck chair cushions. Kitchen had everything we needed. Good communication with managers. Deck view across a valley looked north providing some sunset colors. A deer walking down the road greeted us and a young bear looking for a trashcan snack at the neighbors' was our goodbye.
