Beautiful property for romantic getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage overlooking the ocean. All the amenities were lovely especially the fireplace and hot tub. Oh and the fresh eggs too! The hosts were helpful without compromising privacy and just really nice people. The location was perfect and easy to get to and from. We loved every minute here and we can’t wait to go back!!

The perfect relaxing kid free getaway

The cottage was exceptionally clean, well cared for and had all the amenities we needed and more. Danny welcomed us shortly after we arrived and made sure we knew where to find everything, and had helpful local recommendations. We had the most beautiful weekend hiking, relaxing and eating good food. We will definitely be back!

Cozy Cabin (Peddle, Paddle & Pub Adventure)

A stunning view from every window, decks and the private hot tub! Stocked with everything needed for our romantic stay, including logs for the cozy wood burning fire. We paddle boarded around the Basin and biked to the Pot Holes and Ocean Brewing Pub. We will definitely return, as we had a magical 3 night stay here👍

Just Okay

This property was just okay. The bad points: a dingy and dark shower, ants in the kitchen and completely dangerous and useless steps to get into the bathtub. The good points: the kitchen was well stocked, the private hot tub was nice and comfortable outdoor chairs overlooking the water. Overall, I would say this cottage is overpriced and would not recommend for older people. I would not book again.

A perfect home away from home

11 out of 10! This cottage made our trip to Vancouver Island and greater Victoria! Was a perfect home to enjoy a slow start to the day over coffee and waterfront views … and excellent evenings resting inside and enjoying the hot tub and sunsets. All the little details you’d hope for in a VRBO rental and great, welcoming hosts in Danny and Tami who you knew would be there if you needed them, but gave plenty of space so you could feel as though the entire property was your own personal oasis. Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Victoria, but a short drive away from all the great excursions and experiences you’d want to enjoy. If ever back in this area we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Stay

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful time, the property was beautiful. It was wonderfully peaceful and private with gorgeous views. Several amenities were a short drive away (groceries, restaurants etc). The hot tub was the perfect temperature and so relaxing. Can't wait to come back for another visit.

Exceptional oceanfront tiny home

Thank you Tami. We looked forward to a quiet getaway, and biking access to the Sooke Potholes via the Galloping Goose trail. This well equipped and well planned tiny home was perfect. Sitting out on the waterfront deck watching otters, and sea birds at the end of our day was truly relaxing. Our hosts were very discreet but were there when we needed them. Fabulous Staycation :)

We had 3 wonderful nights in the cottage. It was even nicer than the pics - perfect seaside cotttage with every amenity including great spices/teas/coffee/ wifi/tv. Danny was there to greet us right away and gave us a quick overview. We didn’t leave the property except once for the Sooke fun day. It was too nice to leave! Great hottub and dock was lovely ! Even had a lightning show on our last night. Total relaxation - highly recommend :)

Amazing cottage and location

One of the best VRBO locations we've been to in a while. The property is so beautiful, perfectly located and thoughtfully furnished. Being able to relax, kayak off the dock, hike nearby made this an amazing vacation

Absolutely outstanding cottage beside the ocean

Owners have built and furnished a cottage that exceeds five stars - kitchen with fully stocked Keurig coffee maker, bathroom with deep tub and rainmaker shower and, outside, a completely private hot tub. Owners respected our privacy but were always immediately available to answer questions.

Pictures don’t do it justice. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the view is quite dreamy. The cottage was spotless and location was private and quiet. Hands down one of the best properties we’ve booked.
