Stained beds/Blood pillows

The owners discounted the cleaning fee however, I think I’m going to lay off rentals such as this, I’m not an “high maintenance” girl so I can over look spider webs on the light fixtures,but what I uncovered pulling the sheets at our last day was unacceptable, on multiple beds we found visible fluid stains, which take me back to when we first arrived I told my partner it smelled funny, he contributed it to the lake. But there was also blood stained pillows in our room and no one had a nose bleed or any fluids on the bed and no kids that urinate the bed. They expressed they are looking for a new cleaning company but that’s disheartening that I’ll forever remember this experience and be uncomfortable with trusting another person home. The pricing for a family trying to come together in one lodging was good but the cleanliness was disgusting and disappointing. The views are nice of the lake. The enclosed but open porch was nice especially when cooking and it gets hot in the kitchen.

Wonderful Thanksgiving getaway

This house is excellent!! Sarah and Matt were incredibly responsive and provided thorough check-in info, including labeled maps for the tricky parking situation (it ended up not being tricky at all thanks to that!). We only encountered a couple tiny hiccups during our Wed-Sat stay, and I can't even consider them "problems" since they were so minor and a breeze to remedy (Broken coffee maker? Don't worry, there's a brand new one in the closet ready to tag in!). The four kids loved the bunks and sofa bed and had plenty of room to hang out in their own space while the adults hung out upstairs. Even in the chilly weather, the screened in porch was lovely for morning coffee overlooking the lake, and we were able to utilize the fire pit as well! I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a cozy Ozarks getaway in any season!

Nice place

Beautiful place as advertised. Difficult to get to. But a paradise once you do. Will bring my family next time when it’s warmer. We are considering trying to rent a place for a couple of months in the summer, this would be perfect. I have 2 young girls and it was perfect for them and my wife.

2024 Annual Girls Fishing Trip

Lovely home

We come to the area every year for bike fest. This house was very clean and beautiful. My favorite part was the screened in porch, we made a lot of memories out there. I was unaware of the parking limitations when I first booked but the owners were very helpful and provided addition photos of the parking area. We were able to fit three motorcycles in the garage and parked three vehicles outside, it was tight but we made it work just fine.

Family Vacation

I stayed in this home for a family vacation. The home was exactly what it was listed as. Location was wonderful. The view was absolutely gorgeous. The host was very responsive with any questions that I had. The home had everything that we needed. That wonderful screened in porch, we spent a lot of our time out there looking out over the lake and playing games or visiting. The house was just absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be staying there again.

Incredible property, location and owners

Loved everything about this property. With triple digits forecast for the week, had concerns about the house staying cool but it was a non-issue. A/C kept up just fine and we even used the oven a few times with no impact. Communication with the owners was great. Received detailed instructions well in advance. No issues but reached out with some general questions that they responded to within minutes. The house itself is very spacious and well laid out. TVs in each bedroom and common areas (including the outside bar) is a great touch. Bathrooms are modern and roomy. The screened in porch was a favorite place to hang out and dine in. An easy walk down to the dock. Would definitely love to stay here again.

Lake Front Family Vacation

Multi-family vacation of 12 loved our time on the lake. The weather was great so we spent multiple days on the dock playing in the water and floating. The kids loved jumping off the dock and the ladder made it easy to get in and out. There was even room for our dad/uncle to park his pontoon for the week. Our favorite spot for hanging out each day and playing cards was the screened in porch. There was room for everyone. The beds were very nice with good quality bedding. There are a lot of stairs so be mindful if you are traveling with someone not too steady on their feet. As with most lake front properties the parking was tight especially because we had two trucks. If you are traveling with normal sized vehicles it might be better for you. One vehicle has to park in the garage which our trucks would not fit into. The other right in front of the garage door and the third on the side of the garage as close as possible as to not impinge on the easements so neighbors can come and go also. This was more of an inconvenience for us because for the person parked in the garage to leave, one of the trucks had to move out of the way and with the tight space it just wasn’t ideal. The view from the screened in porch, the outside bar and the dock was beautiful. We cooked all of our breakfasts and dinners and had all the needed cooking utensils. We grilled out on the Fourth of July and roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. Overall this was a great place to stay.

Family Time vacation

Stayed here for a week with our kids and their friends, all 17 and older. The lower level with TV was great for them to have their own space. The large screen in porch was incredible and made for a much more relaxing evenings without having to swat away the bugs. Parking is a bit tight but doable. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are bright. With seven of us, we were comfortable. Would stay again.

Another fun visit

This was our second stay at this home. The hosts are very responsive. Great place to stay. We like the two levels. The young adult grandkids stayed downstairs having their own living room area. Our daughter and husband and we had our bedrooms, living area upstairs. Loved the screened in porch. We all spent much of our time there. Lake and dock were great for swimming, too. Hope to spend another vacation next year here.

First time in the Ozarks

Perfect place for our first time in the ozarks. It was so quiet, reserved, and great to just float in the lake. The house was well spaced and plenty of spaces for sleeping and comfort. Great space for a get away.

Weekend Fishing with a Chance of Drinking (favored water)

Outdoor space perfection!

We have been staying in condos and resorts in Lake of the Ozarks for years, and this was our first *house* rental. We were very happy and had a great time! We stayed at this property with family while some family members fished the Big Bass Bash. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, hang out, and spread out! All of the bedrooms and rooms had Roku TVs with guest logins. This was super convenient to have your own apps and movie/tv services handy. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were enough paper products to get us through our weekend (even though we always buy extra when we stay in rental properties just in case!) The location on the water for fishing was perfect and having our own dock and boat slip just steps away was wonderful! We even took a super short boat ride to dinner at H. Toad and Franky and Louie’s! The outdoor space is just as pictured! The top deck is perfect for enjoying all times (and meals!) of the day with the enclosed/screened porch, and the bottom deck is perfect for hanging out and having cocktails/mocktails while watching “the game” or music videos! The hosts were excellent from day one, which, for us, was several months ahead of our stay. They answered any questions we had, were super kind, and provided excellent details for our stay.

Beautiful and clean family vacation house!

We were so happy with the cleanliness and comfort of this house. The outdoor areas and screened in porch were amazing. We wish we had better weather to enjoy the back yard while we were there. Kitchen was small but had everything we needed. We would definitely book this place again in the summer!

Ozark Get Away

Overall a fabulous stay!. The outdoor spaces were great, especially the screened in porch area where we spent every morning and evening. The home was perfect for 4 couples with plenty of space to gather and spread out. Owners were extremely quick and helpful in answering all our questions. Perfect location on the lake, lots of restaurants and bars by boat. We would definitely stay here again!

2023 family LOZ trip

This place was amazing! Very clean. The water pressure was great. Everyone had hot showers. The dishwasher worked great and was a lifesaver. We cooked our steaks on the grate on an open fire besidethe house. The upper screened in patio was perfect. We mostly stayed in there each day. Loved watching all of the boat traffic. It kept the bugs out which was a huge plus. This was the perfect place for our family. Short run to the grocery store and gas station.

Excellent Family Getaway!!!!

We loved this property! We loved the dock, the screened in porch and the quiet space. We just wanted a chill place for us to relax with our kids and this stay hit the mark! Our only real issue was that the paper products were low for a family, and we did have to purchase some during our stay. Our kids loved swimming off the dock and laying in the sun!

Great House

My family of 11…My wife and I, our 2 children and their 4 children plus a bf totally enjoyed our stay..the lake and dock were excellent for swimming and fishing..grandkids caught a lot of fish…everyone’s favorite part…THE OUTSIDE BAR!!!!! We spent the majority of our time out there! We loved our stay and Lord willing WE WILL BE BACK! Thank you
