Great getaway

What a cute little cabin in the woods, yet still close to everywhere we wanted to go. Great place to come back to after a long day of exploring. Had hoped to see wildlife and was visited by a bear (who minded his own business) and two deer within the first couple hours. Would definitely stay again!

A servicable yet bare bones property

Unlike most "by Owner" property, this one is managed by a local management company. They are the middleman and as such, pass the ball if any issues arise...And they don't prioritize following up. Thankfully, I didnt have any major issues but the one I did have was left unanswered... If you do rent a cabin from Cove Mountain, you'll need to bring practically everything needed to function, right down to shampoo, ICE (or your own ice trays), towels that aren't threadbare, a dish sponge, decent kitchen tools or utensils. Everything provided was of Dollar Tree quality and functioned as such... Cleanliness was just surface level. Lots of gigantic crumbs under the sofa, dusty fixtures and dust beneath the bed and furniture. It's obvious the cabin has been well used and the fixtures, (furniture, hot tub cover, kitchen tools, towels) bear that out and are in dire need of replacement. Because of these issues, this is not a property that I would recommend to others, nor would I likely revisit.

Cozy little cabin

Small, cozy cabin semi-secluded off of Wears Valley Road. There’s a nice little coffee shop and a large general store just a short distance from the cabin, that we enjoyed! It is located about 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and just a little longer to Gatlinburg through the National Park. It was quite and perfect for two people.

Peaceful

We were thankful to be off the beaten path at the cabin. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was relaxing. The front porch swing and rocking chairs were exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway.

Private and peaceful

We would definitely return, quaint and quiet. Love the quiet bedroom with very comfortable bed. The porch and hot tub were perfect. Located away from busyness of Pigeon Forge, and in tranquil setting minutes from park.

Rhody Cottage Charmer

Lovely location, cute little cabin. Owner told me it was modeled after a Cades Cove Cottage. The front porch rockers were a great place to sit during the rain storm. Had everything we needed. Would definitely return if we weren't so far.

Peaceful Paradise

Nice Cozy cabin close to the National Park, but far enough away from tourists. You can get to pigeon forge or Gatlinburg and return to the quite serenity. Exactly what we were looking for!

Brody Cottage

It was a beautiful cabin, we enjoyed our stay very much! Although there were a tremendous amount of large wasps and spiders by the front door and hot tub which made it hard to enjoy the outdoors. We would stay again regardless the location of the cabin made it easy to get out and do fun things, Thank you for the amazing stay!

Seriously this is the cutest cabin! Close to civilization with the feel of being out in the woods! Super quiet, great front porch and hot tub on a side deck. Husband and I stayed for 5 nights and slept great. Cabin has tons of towels, fully stocked kitchen and ROKU TV. Hot water is plentiful, super clean and perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend. We WILL be back!

Quiet cozy private

We enjoyed the hot tub later evening after heatwave or early morning before heat. Very quiet location and private. Small and cozy. Close to town and 15 mins from Pigeon Forge. 30 mins to Gatlinburg. Both cities had lots of things to do places to shop and restaurants.

Another enjoyable visit to Rhody Cottage

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Rhody Cottage- This cabin is small but very quaint and perfect for 2 people--The furnishings have been updated since our last stay--very nicely done--It was clean and equipped with the "essentials"--The ONLY thing that was a bit hard to regulate was the AC--It was VERY hot while we were there and the AC runs a bit loud--but other than that our stay was great and we would stay there again!
