Sunny in Florida

We were here visiting an Aunt, we wanted something roomy and with a pool. This place had it all. The house was well cared for, clean and well supplied. The beds were comfortable. The backyard was clean and the pool eas perfect. The only complaint would be the planes do fly over but honestly not a big deal and nothing anyone can do about thst. Plenty of restaurant choices. We enjoyed the Ramada tiki bar. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

perfect location. perfect for families

stayed and explored sarasotta while staying at a place locared between many popular beaches. house stocked with games, pools toys, and basic kitchen supplies so it was a great place to bring kids home to after days of exploring.

Family vacation

The location was awesome, so close to so many great beaches and restaurants, the pool was used everyday, loved the outdoor space. The inside was nice but the beds were not comfortable, I think the mattresses need replaced. The space was nice for us, the owner was very responsive with the few issues we ran into.

Good.

It was a good place to stay. Nothing crazy nice which is completely fine with me. Only had 3 beach towels, baby items weren’t cleaned and stored in a garage (so very dirty), we rented it thinking it would be very kid friendly and while it’s better than a lot of places. Didn’t have outlet covers (have a 1 year old so that’s important), some dry wall was missing/ cracked so we really had to be on our toddler all the time. Again probably more an us problem. We did extend our stay and it was fine. Never found the “water access” spot though. Neighborhood was great and easy to get to things. Owner is super nice and helpful.

Great house for price

Very nice place. The owners were very responsive. They went above and beyond to get the pool ready for my kids after the hurricane..The house on the inside was very clean..In the garage ,underneath the HVAC looked very dirty. There were toys and things to keep the kids busy. Overall, a great stay in a good location.

We had a wonderful time in Florida. So much to see and do. We went to a different beach every day! ( Cortez was our favorite). It was wonderful having a pool and the fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved it! Jill in NC

I was extremely impressed with the communication of the owners. Especially, during the hurricane. The house has a 70’s vibe to it and we absolutely loved it. Definitely a place I would stay again.

Cute little house

We were in town for a soccer tournament. 2 families stayed comfortably. The house had all of our needs. Plenty of extra pillows, blankets and fans. The backyard was perfect with a pool, grill, and outside furniture. The check in and check out process was a breeze.

Quiet Family Get Away

This home was exactly what we were looking for. Enough space for my family of 4. We loved the back patio, think we spent the majority of our time sitting by the pool, kids swam all day, every day. Kitchen was adequately stocked. Information in home was well labeled and we appreciated the restaurant recommendations in the guest book.

Sweet Spot

Location was great and the home was clean and renovated . We enjoyed the pool even though it was still early and a bit chilly. This is a larger home if space is what you need. I liked the fact that we weren’t in the busy part of town but still had restaurants and stores close by. The neighborhood was quiet but we were close to the airport and did hear planes a bit at night. If you like sea food BRIANS SEAFOOD MARKET AND RESTAURANT is a must for sea food. Next door to that is a German pastry and coffee cafe. Another must check out.we got coffee/ breakfast there. ( MAMA Gs ) . This is all a few miles away.

Winter get away

Sarasota, Lido beach, St Armand’s Circle, Bradenton beach were all an easy drive from the house. Lots of great restaurants. Publix was only 1 mile. Loved the master bathroom with Bluetooth speaker and makeup vanity with seating. Dining table was oversized which is nice. Sectional and chairs gave lots of seating. Back porch was excellent!

Areas for improvement

Expected more. Peeling paint, repairs needed. Oven cleaned. Grill had wasps/bees, didn’t feel comfortable with laundry area, pool area etc. The inside has been refreshed but for the price I expected more. Very difficult to get to know tv’s and what was available. Instructions by each tv would have been extremely helpful. Thank you!

Comfortable home for my family

We spent a long weekend here and really enjoyed or time there. Check in with a key pad was a breeze. The home has everything you need. Plenty of fresh linens for the bathrooms/ bedrooms along with the small things to get you going. Garage had all the outdoor things you might need for a trip to the beach along with a washer and dryer. Kitchen was well equipped for the meals we prepared. The A/C did seem to struggle a bit but we tried to keep the doors closed and used the fans provided to keep a handle on it in the middle of the day. No problem at night. I must say though, the daytime temps in July were around the upper 90s. Besides, we live in north FL and ours works overtime during these days also. I did love the layout of the home inside and out. The back patio was nice with us in and out of the pool. I used the outdoor grill after I replaced a light fixture that had gone bad. I wouldn't mind having my own setup like this at my home. We did replace several light bulbs that were bad as well but that's just my handyman OCD. This is an older home with a few updates already completed and tons of potential if she is continued to be cared for. In all we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others because of the value you get! Thanks for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back next year!

The complete package - location, amenities, space

My brother and I planned this trip with the goal of easily getting to a beach, relaxing a bit at the unit, and seeing some Spring Training baseball in Bradenton. Our expectations were exceeded with this property on all fronts! It was a quick drive south to Lido Key Beach and to LECOM Park to see baseball games. Shopping in the area was plentiful. The unit itself had all the amenities that we needed and then some, as we grilled steaks in the large covered patio grill, enjoyed the pool, and relaxed on the comfortable chairs on the pool deck. The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, as well as a full spice-rack used for having other meals in the house. There were plenty of bath and beach towels as well - a bonus when it comes to packing light. The hosts were quick to respond to questions throughout the booking process and during our stay. I would definitely put this property at the top of my list for future travel to the Sarasota-Bradenton area.

Cute, Clean Property With Pool and Close to Everything

The property was adorable. The property owners were very helpful and accommodated our every need. It was a bit cold to use the pool but would be wonderful in the summer. Two separate bedrooms made it easy for our two couples to have privacy and their own restroom. Full kitchen, wonderful showers, and you could get to any of the area attractions by car easily. Also, very easy and affordable to travel by Uber. We will be back!

Wir fanden nach unsere Ankunft ein Objekt vor das in keinster Weise den Bildern und der Beschreibung entsprach.Dieses Haus wird offensichtlich nur dazu genutzt um mit null Aufwand maximalen Ertrag zu erzielen.In der komplett mit Müll und Unrat vollgestellten Garage befanden sich eine völlig verklebte Waschmaschine und ein verrosteter Trockner.In diesem befand sich dann die zu benutzende Bettwäsche und einige Handtücher.Den Weg zu diesen Maschinen musste man sich erstmal Freiräumen.Der Master Bedroom bestand aus einem verschmutzten unbezogenem Bett und ebenso völlig verstaubten Schränken.In der Küche war alles komplett verklebt und schmutzig,an die Zubereitung einer Mahlzeit war nicht zu denken.Auf der Terrasse lag verstreut Kinderspielzeug in rauen Mengen, dieses hatte aber auch schon bessere Tage gesehen.Der Grill war aus hygienischen Gründen unbenutzbar, das komplette Terassenmobiliar war sehr alt und teilweise extrem verschmutzt.Die Terassentüren waren insgesamt so vergammelt das diese sich nur mit erheblichem Kraftaufwand öffnen und schließen lassen.Im gesamten Haus ging bei komplett geschlossenen Fenstern und Türen ein permanenter Luftzug da sämtliche Türen und Fenster undicht waren.Dieses hatte wahrscheinlich zur Folge das sich im gesamten Haus ein muffig moderiger Geruch ausgebreitet hat und sich in der Küche eine Ameisenkolonie ausgebreitet hat.Ein renoviertes Badezimmer stand einem anderen gegenüber das in kleinster Weise irgendwelchen Standards entsprach. Einzig positiv zu erwähnen wäre das sich der Vermieter nach unserer vor Ort Beschwerde von sich aus angeboten hat das Mietverhältnis nach einem Tag zu beenden und die komplette Miete zurück zu überweisen ,was auch problemlos geklappt hat.Wir standen dann vor dem Problem eine neue Unterkunft zu suchen was aber zum Glück geklappt hat. Insgesamt muss man festhalten das dieses Objekt absolut nicht zu empfehlen ist und die dazugehörigen Bilder wohl mehrere Jahre alt sind. Fazit : FINGER WEG !!!

It was truly a great experience to be able to barbecue and swim and enjoy the day without having to go anywhere in the house was clean the view was great amenities were great the owner was fantastic and accommodating and and quick to respond
