Sweet and complete

The house is well furnished, kitchen has everything you need, bed is comfy, garden is serene, neighborhood is quiet and neighbor chickens know not to cluck too early in the morning. Hosts are respectful of privacy but very helpful too.

Just fine for what we wanted

Small kitchen with no oven (there was a toaster oven) so don't expect to cook a turkey dinner. But who wants to do that anyway. Very minor item but we could have used a garlic press. Also all the coffee pods were flavored. Very interesting selection if you don't want just coffee flavored coffee. The did have user fillable pods which came in handy since we did bring our own coffee. Comfortable bed and the A/C worked very well. Overall a great little place.

Quiet and cozy perfect getaway

Lovely guesthouse. Love the decor so cool. Guesthouse is very clean, and comfy bed. We stayed there while in town for a wedding, location was perfect for us. Donny and Romy are wonderful people so friendly and great to work with. Would definitely stay again.

Anderson Hub

This little place in Anderson was the perfect spot for us as a hub with easy access to places we wanted to check out in the area. It was easy to take off for the day to nearby places like the Sundial Bridge or Lake Shasta or go a little farther to Burney Falls or Lassen Park. It was great each day to return to the house and relax in the quaint backyard area. Everything was very comfortable and decorated with charm. The owners were friendly and very helpful, but never intrusive. It was a great place to stay.

Accomodating and great place to stay in every way

The home, land, and property were beautiful and well kept. The owners were quite friendly, kind, respectful and went out of thier way to make our stay more comfortable. I was in the area due to my father's death, so I had to coordinate his memorial service along with the other financial and other legal responsibilities that needed to be addressed after his passing. This place was a great sanctuary during my grief and was a nice private venue to have family members over to share, organize, and talk things through. My husband and I would like to stay there again in the future.

Wonderful Atmosphere

I booked this stay for our close friend and officiant for my, and my husbands, wedding weekend. He raved about this property all weekend, and we are so happy he had a lovely stay! This is what he had to say - "This place was absolutely amazing! A fantastic guest house in a quiet neighborhood. The owners were super friendly, and the space was wonderful with great amenities, the best atmosphere, and the disco ball was just an amazing addition to me. Loved loved loved this place. This is a awesome place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. It had everything from wireless phone chargers to eggs and beer in the fridge. I’ll be back every year. I’d stay here over a hotel any day of the week. The owners are awesome too.

Loved our stay!

We came to Anderson to care for my aging mother. Two days after we arrived she passed away. We were so thankful to have a very comfortable place to stay! The Cascade is in a location nearby all there is to do in Shasta County. The rental had everything we needed and more!!!

Very good and easy communication from start to finish. Loved the place, easy private access, etc. A gem in an otherwise residential neighborhood making you feel extra safe and at home. Loved the decor, very special. Would definitely book again.

The best location for access to everything in a lovely setting!

This was a get-away for me to unwind and commune with nature and family nearby. If you prefer a clean and quiet place over a hotel (who doesn't?), this is affordable and close to every adventure you want to access. Donny and Romy are so hospitable and they want to make sure you have what you need, without intruding into your privacy. Plus the sweetest smelling, softest towels you will ever experience! Options for a great vacation experience for adults and kids is only a short drive away: Shasta Lake, Whiskeytown reservoir and waterfalls, Shasta caverns (breathtaking!). Redding has really good eateries and the famous sundial bridge and turtle bay. Factory outlets are just down the road from this home, if you like to shop. If you want to veg out and watch TV, there is a HUGE one, with more programming than you could ever want! I highly recommend you stay here and take advantage of the affordability of this home and spend an extra day or two exploring everything this area has to offer.

Great weekend get away!

Thank you, Donny and Romy, for a terrific stay. It was our anniversary and just wanted to escape the daily grind ...safely. The place was emaculate and every little convenience was thought out completely. The fire pit and grill were much appreciated by us both. The private entry was nice and we truly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend if just trying to get away or are traveling and want to see the sights in our lovely area. 10/10. PS. Thanks for the bubbly!
