Nice house that could use some work

My family booked this house for a 5 night vacation. The house is nice and conveniently located between orange beach and Pensacola. Thats pretty much the only good thing about this property. The neighborhood was not the nicest but we didn’t have any issues. When we arrived the house was decently cleaned but the floors were dirty, there were stains on the carpet and some of the furniture, the sheets on the sofa bed were dirty and one arm chair was completely broken. As far as supplies go, the house was not equipped to have seven people stay, let alone nine like the listing says. The house was lacking cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwasher pods, detergent, garbage bags, and coffee filters for the supplied coffee maker. Our second night staying we noticed a large amount of ants infiltrating the kitchen. The only way to contact the company was by messenger on the app. They eventually sent pest control but by then we had bought ant spray and taken care of it ourselves due to the sheer amount of ants present. Things to know if you’re thinking of booking here: be prepared to bring or buy all of the supplies mentioned above, do not have more than 6 people stay (not enough beds or furniture), make sure the rental company provides ant spray, be prepared to drive at least 15 minutes to get to any restaurants or beach, if you want to use the grill or fire pit be prepared to buy charcoal and firewood. This property is a 5.5/10. We really enjoyed this area of Flora-Bama but we will not be back to this property.

First trip to Perdido Key

This place was a great home away from home. It was very clean, nicely decorated and contained most of the amenities from home. Plenty of recreational items to enjoy. Thank you for the memorable trip at Gulf Breeze Cottage!

Comfortable Beach Cottage

The cottage is very comfortable and well stocked for an extended stay. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. The neighborhood is quiet with little traffic. Everything you need for the beach is provided, i.e. chairs, umbrella, cart, cooler, etc. The grill was a disappointment. It's a charcoal type and hasn't been cleaned or emptied of ashes ever it seemed. The properties nearby this one and along the street are unappealing with double wide trailers, junk cars and trash in yards. The grass hadn't been mowed in quite a while and the irrigation system was not working properly.

Comfortable and Convenient

The picture are accurate but once inside, they don't quite give this place justice. It is bright, clean and spacious. My granddaughter's cheer competition prompted our stay here. Let me preface my review with... This property group thought of what seemed like everything. Each time I "wished I had" brought x-y-z we literally discovered already provided there within the home. LOL. I honestly don't think I've ever felt so accommodated in any other stay "away from home". You have nearly everything needed to enjoy the city/beaches; bikes, chairs, coolers, wagon, fenced yard for pets, screened back porch, etc. I definitely recommend this property to those considering it.

Fantastic house near Perdido Key

My family stayed at this property for a quick Spring Break getaway. We LOVED the house and the layout. Everything was spotless at check-in. We could tell that the owners truly want their guests to have a great and carefree experience while on vacation. The back porch is the perfect place to sit and read a book or play games with your family. I can’t recommend this property enough! It’s right over the bridge from Perdido Key. Note before you book, the street where the home is located is in a state of transition, but the property has excellent security.

Very clean, great location, good internet

This house was so cute and super clean! Location is close to some great hiking and gulf views. Loved that the bikes and kayaks were provided. The backyard was great for our dog and we enjoyed the back screen porch most nights. I had to work a couple days during our trip and the internet speed was great even for bigger down/uploads. We will definitely return.

Family Stay in

The property was new, nice, and clean. It was also nicely decorated and had all amenities listed. The pictures of this listing are very accurate . The home is located very close to Big Lagoon State Park, but the neighborhood itself is up and coming. It’s a mix of new homes, mobile homes, and some mixed use properties. The beach is just a 5 minute drive. My biggest complaint was that we were not allowed to check in early. We were traveling from Orlando with my elderly mother, and we offered to pay an additional fee to check in early but this was not allowed by any means. If possible, this should be given as an option as most rentals allow this once the home is ready

Do not know what you mean for this.

House and all items in it were very nice, clean and looked new. The problem we had was the tv stations. Could not get any local channels or the channels we usually watch things on. Everything on the tv channels was old stuff.

Only one problem master bedroom, Bed furniture bottom part wood is too big, its hit by the knee, I, my wife and my daughter all one hit by this part. please change the that furniture, but mattress is very comfortable, if that house beside the ocean for fun, But we find it whatever i need in the kitchen room.
