Brandi's Excellent Uptown Oasis

Not my first stay in NOLA but first time in the Garden District. It was an amazing choice with everything needed for the extended 2 week stay. Brandi and Steve are both incredibly gracious and helpful with everything and Brandi's New Orlean's inspired design is both fun and functional. Restaurants, shopping, and even a local bike shop, Mike the Bike Guy, for rentals of excellent bikes, all in the neighborhood. Dangerously delicious bakery, La Boulangerie, right next door that'll become your morning/afternoon go to for amazing pastries and breads. If you prefer being a little away from the crazy in the Quarter, it's an easy Uber/Lyft and definitely offers a way to experience NOLA as a local. Enjoyed the 2 weeks there and was always happy to go "home" to this lovely and safe retreat.

Absolutely AMAZING

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Mardi Gras Suite on Magazine Street! There are two other rentals tied to this property which is great to know for the future because we LOVED everything and will return. The location couldn't have been better — right across the street from one of our favorite restaurants and within walking distance to so many other fantastic dining spots (Shaya, LaPetite Grocery & Pomelo) and shops. The balcony overlooking Magazine Street was the perfect place to sip coffee in the morning, glass of wine in the evenings and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.The condo itself was beautifully decorated with a fun, modern vibe. In fact, we loved the decor so much that we even picked up a few pieces from a local shop, Bella Gifts to Beaux, to bring that style home with us. The two-bedroom, one-bath layout was comfortable and spacious, and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special. The kitchen is stocked with coffee and creamer, and we were delighted to find fresh pastries waiting for us upon arrival from the incredible bakery which is two doors down. There is a Rouses Supermarket a short 10 minute walk away. Brandi and Steve left the wagon for us so that we could bring back our groceries easily.Communication with the hosts was seamless — they were responsive, friendly, and eager to ensure we had everything we needed. It's truly one of the best vacation rentals we've ever experienced, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Amazing place to stay in NO

Thank you to Brandi and Steve as we had a great time being at their place during Mardi Gras. It is spacious and had everything that we needed. The Garden District is easy to explore from their place and we discovered many new restaurants and had a lot of walks in their neighborhood appreciating all of the beautiful homes there.

Great neighborhood! Fabulous 2nd floor deck. Next time I will allocate more time to sit on the deck and drink coffee or wine! Comfortable beds and bedding. Thanks for having us - we had a blast!

Magical Magazine Retreat

As New Orleans junkies who happen to live out of state, we’ve seen a lot of Air B&Bs over the years. This one is a family favorite. Everything was perfect: from the funky uptown art vibe to the comfortable beds, and even down to the little touches - like the Lovesac, wide variety of coffee and actual quality toilet paper! The balcony overlooking Magazine was perfect for after dinner drinks and people watching and you can’t beat the proximity to the best bakery in town (La Boulangerie) and plenty of nightlife. We will be back again and again!

You will not be disappointed

This rental was a fabulous find! I would not hesitate to recommend this home! The location was perfect, breakfast places to the left and right, fabulous restaurants within walking distance, street car about 6 blocks away and great hosts to deal with! You'l love it!!

Upbeat & Uniquely New Orleans!

This was our time using VRBO and it was great! We enjoyed our stay so much! Communicating with the owner was so quick and easy! The space was very nice, clean and had a great vibe! it's located just steps away from one of the best bakeries in town. The neighborhood is so fun and friendly. We will stay here again!!

Fancy New Orleans Stay

We went to New Orleans for our oldest daughter's nineth birthday. She wanted to go somewhere where she could walk and shop rather than having to drive everywhere. Not only did both my girls say this suite was artistic and fancy (the highest praise from 9 and 5 year old girls), but the location is unbeatable. The bakery is just a couple of doors down, and all the shops on Magazine street are unique and beautiful. The hosts were absolutely amazing, the suite was a beautiful mix of history and updated conveniences, and the location is unbeatable. We couldn't have asked for anything better, and the girls already want to know when we are going back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Literally the best place in NOLA

Great property, in perfect location with by far the best owner we have experienced on VRBO. Easy to grab a bus ( few steps from house)or the tram ( lovely houses on the route) straight into center, which we realized was the best decision not staying too central, as bars and shops in area gave a much better feel of NOLA.Very nice vibe in the house and surrounding areas, and felt safe all the time. Local dive bar was great. Again Brandi saved the day , as left my best shirt behind (she posted on for me to my next location, and found a car charger for my phone) Could not ask for more , and thoroughly recommended. Thanks for perfect trip

Best place to stay in NOLA!

I loved this place from the minute I arrived and opened the door! I was greeted with the cutest hip decor in the bright and inviting living room. I was welcomed with fresh pastries from La Boulangerie bakery (two doors away from the rental) and a lovely note from the owners. The whole place was very well appointed -- with comfy beds and linens, a well-stocked kitchen including a Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods and a Brita in the fridge for purified water. The bathroom had both towels as well as make-up towels to use (so the regular towels wouldn't get stained by makeup). And the extra bonus was the fabulous front porch where I could sit and look out on Magazine Street. The owners were super responsive and helpful in answering my questions. I love this place, and give it a 10++++!

Mardi Gras House

A great place with an amazing location. New Orleans Flavor in their decor makes your visit to New Orleans authentic and fun. Across from a great dinner house Lupo and next door to Le Boloungerie where the coffee and baked goods are amazing.
