Excellent hotel in a fantastic location. Hotel staff was super friendly and attentive, including a great bartender and housekeeping staff that even offered to dry my mother’s coat after a downpour. The room was beautiful and spacious. Shower had great water pressure and hot water, and nice size shampoo and amenities. We have been to Charleston many times and stayed at other hotels at this price point, but we will never look at options again. We will definitely be back! Roof top bar was also a perfect location for before-dinner drinks.

I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone! The location is fabulous! We overlooked City Market and the harbor! It it walkable to all of the downtown historic district! The hotel staff which included the Valet, Housekeeping, Bartenders and especially Chloe at the service desk, were all 5 star!!! They all provided us Impeccable service! Thank you Chloe for making our stay, memorable!!!

Couple Get Away
This was a get away for my husband and I. The hotel is definitely luxurious. The room was amazing, luxurious, clean and quiet. The top patio bar is beautiful. Although it was cold, the hotel has done a great job by having gas heaters at each table and sectioned each table with plexiglass to keep the cold out. The staff throughout the hotel was super helpful, kind and hard working. The continental breakfast right on the floor we were staying was perfect. They made our stay super special. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Have been here many times over the years. It’s not near what it used to be or worth the price. Staff that was there was the only highlight of the three days. They did a great job given they were down to just a handful of people. Same seven people worked desk, concierge, bell and valet. Plus stocking the concierge floor. Hats off to them. The bad. No hot breakfast. Can’t even get hot breakfast with room service. No eggs, bacon, grits or biscuits here. No in room coffee maker either. Breakfast is coffee and poor pastry in the hallway. Not a fan of having to get dressed to go out for morning coffee. It was completely gone one day at 9 am. Tiny tv. Maybe 24in. The bed was overdue for replacement. Sore from sleeping, if you can call it that. Parking for valet was nonexistent. Had to use public parking then call the front desk to make space to pull in front of hotel valet. They just didn’t have staff. On final day appeared to be a homeless person locked in the lobby mens room stall sleeping. Everything was overpriced but that appears to be the new normal for Charleston. Have been visiting for over 30 years but this might be our last stay downtown. Charleston in general isn’t what it used to be. This place just adds to its demise. Sad on so many levels to see a place we love deteriorating.
