Home away from home

This property could not have been more perfect for our whole family to spend our vacation. The house, property, and amenities are exactly as described/ photographed. We would absolutely stay here again.

Garden Island Bliss

We booked only a couple of months ahead of spring break. This house happened to be available! The location was just perfect for beaches, shops and close to Lihue for airport and driving the island. We had 12 guests-8 adults, 4 kids 3-16. The room and bath arrangements were perfect. The home was well apportioned with all we needed to cook and relax. The hosts offered so much support and recommendations for anything we needed. Beach supplies galore. Lots of laundry facilities. Fantastic neighborhood!

Good Property in a Great Location

We enjoyed our stay and the property was ideally located in walking distance to the beach, athletic club and shopping. The main reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is due to minor issues with the property such as minor maintenance issues with the stove, fridge and screen door among others. The water in the showers was limited to lukewarm. There were also many HOA rules about lights etc. and compliance would be much easier if certain property lights were on timers. All in all good stay and would do again, but can't help wondering if the property being for sale means the owners aren't fully investing in keeping the property in pristine condition.

Perfect location!

Beautiful home with wonderful accommodations for our family of 10! Excellent location to the beaches and shopping areas! This property has space for everyone! Everything you could ask for to take to the beach. The hosts were very responsive and their communications made our stay so easy.

Christmas in Kauai

This home had everything we needed and more .It had plenty of room for our multi-generation, extended family to spread out and also to gather in the same space. It is conveniently located near several shopping areas, beaches, and many more things to do.

The Big O'hana

We had a wonderful stay. This immaculate house comfortably fit our entire extended family of 8 adults and 5 children. We appreciated all the personal touches, like providing toys and games and books for kids, boogie boards and beach toys and chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The enclosed backyard is perfect for keeping little children where you can supervise them. It is a beautiful property located close to everything. I highly recommend it for a family retreat.

Wonderful comfortable house

This is a wonderful home in a great location on the south shore. Plenary of room for a large group. We were 8 adults and five children ages 1 to 7. The bedroom description is entirely accurate and the kids really enjoyed sharing a room together (the three toddlers). The home had a great yard. The two bedrooms in the second building are a wonderful oasis for a couple with a child. It is self contained with a kitchen and small living room. The number of bathrooms is ama9!( all around with each bedroom having an en suite. The living, dining and kitchen are are generous and comfortable. We had one issue and the team managing and owning the home were very responsive.

Perfect family Kauai vacation home!

We absolutely loved this home! It was perfect for our size family! We did not want a pool because of little ones and the large area was a perfect size for whiffle ball games and running around! Location was awesome, could walk to shopping ,restaurants and beaches with a short drive to the town of Koaloa! Also beach chairs, towels and wagon were available. The living area and bedrooms were super comfortable and nice large kitchen made it easy to cook and move around! Loved this house and only wish we could have stayed another week! Highly recommend!

Wonderful time!!

We had such a great time staying at the Big O’Hana property!! We had a group of 12 and everyone had their own space. We walked to shops and beach. Getting to excursions was so much easier than when we staying in Princeville 2 years ago. Would definitely stay here again!!

Kauai paradise

Our family of 13 had a wonderful stay. The big backyard is perfect for kids to run around. The house has a great collection of yard game, a hammock, and a ping pong room. Super. Beach equipment is stocked and there’s everything you need. The houses are spacious and well appointed. There’s room enough to gather together and room to find some solitary peace. We had a great time!

The large Great room keeps everyone in the conversation. The appliance are good quality. The large dining room table easily seats 8 plus 4 more at the bar. The yard is beautiful and the owner has provided lawn games. We enjoyed our stay

Hawaii Home

We stayed in this home with our Great Big Family, 8 kids, 4 in-laws. It was perfect. We enjoyed the access to the athletic club, the nearby beaches, sea turtles, kayaking, bike rides on the beach, and tour of the Na Pali coast. It was truly an amazing vacation. Our 6 year old called it our “Hawaii home.” We even found out we will be grandparents for the first time while enjoying the patio with everyone one evening. This home will always be special to us. The pictures don’t do it justice. The amenities, beach equipment, and prompt service made it the most enjoyable rental experience we have had. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Kauai will always have a piece of our hearts.

Great Family Vacation

Perfect Kauai Family Home for Three Generations

We are already wanting to return to the beautiful home near Poipu Beach. We spent over a week with our children and grandchildren enjoying the spacious home with 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms where we could easily all gather together as well as have our own space . Our grandchildren are young and safety was our paramount concern and this home helped us relax and gave the grandchildren freedom to explore and play safely. The yard is fenced in and encompasses the cottage . The children could play in the yard and be easily supervised . There is a staircase in the main home but it is enclosed so one gate would close it off. There are four bedrooms with on-suites and very comfortable beds and linens . The kitchen is well stocked and since we have a professional cook in the family and a large group , we cooked most of our meals at home and utilized the barbecue as well . There is seating inside and out in both houses and we thoroughly enjoyed meal time in this beautiful house . The house is located in a gorgeous neighbor close to Poipu Beach and a fun shopping area . We enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood and across the Main Street to the Sheraton Hotel and beach . We used the complex many times that was included with our rental that included a great pool with slide and shallow beach area and offered tasty food options!! A very memorable time!!

Wonderful extended family trip

We booked this trip to celebrate college graduates and there were 14 extended family members from 19-63 yrs old. The houses were spacious and there was plenty of room for all of is. We could have used one more bedroom as the family room pullout wasn’t really comfortable for an adult for 9 nights. I think 13 people would he the perfect size for this property. The house had everything we needed including beach equipment and a ping pong table. Very good AC, large lanais and a nice grass area. Perfect location close to everything in Poipu. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing House in Excellent Location

The house was just as described and pictured...beautiful, clean, and comfortable with lots of space and a large back yard. The younger kids had hours of fun just playing in the yard. The neighborhood is quiet and close to all the activities we had planned. We walked to the beach and even shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Our family enjoyed the pool at the athletic club. We appreciated that beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys and umbrellas are all provided. I highly recommend this home. We would definitely stay here again.

Winter Break 2023

We arrived early and the cleaners were just finishing up. They were so kind. We were able to get in a little early, which was helpful, as we had to go to the RSW airport to pick up the rest of the family. Plenty of space for all of us. The pool was perfect. We were able to grill out several nights. The house is close to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. It is also very quiet all around us. The little boys were able to sleep without noise. Extremely nice place. Thank you, Florian for helping us create great memories.
