Bienvenido a Amelia Island: en junio de 2019, ¡votado por CNN TRAVEL como una de las 10 mejores islas de América!
Esta increíble casa se encuentra en Amelia Island Plantation, un complejo turístico de lujo con entrada privada en un callejón sin salida residencial y tranquilo, a 5 minutos a pie de la playa más hermosa de Florida. Esta propiedad es una especie de casa familiar de la "vieja escuela" donde puedes tomar una bicicleta para jugar al ping pong en Walker's Landing, llevar el carrito de golf a la playa para volar una cometa, caminar hasta la isla de Aury para pescar o Marche Burette para un helado. Como propietarios de casas personalizadas, no tenemos acceso a piscinas, pero después de todo es un día de fiesta en la playa donde es seguro y convenientemente ubicado para que los niños sean niños.
Para nosotros, se trataba de comidas familiares en el porche proyectado en medio de los palmettos, el tiempo juntos viendo una película en la televisión de pantalla grande mientras descansaba en el sofá de gran tamaño y aprovechaba la fabulosa ubicación para pasear por la playa, tomar un café en Marche Burette, juego familiar de putt putt golf ... Con 3 cubiertas además del porche proyectado, siempre había un lugar tranquilo para leer un libro o disfrutar viendo pájaros en el comedero para pájaros (se proporciona alpiste). Esta es una casa privada con 4 habitaciones, todas con baño privado, una gran pantalla en el porche y una increíble terraza con vista a un denso bosque de palmettos, que cuenta con una estufa de fuego para chats junto al fuego y happy hour, parrilla de barbacoa y asientos para 14. La casa ha sido actualizada con nuevos colchones, ropa de cama, lavadora / secadora, ollas y vajilla. Wifi gratuito y transmisión en TV de 65 ". Este alquiler viene con un carrito de golf, un garaje para 2 autos y 4 bicicletas para adultos y 4 para niños.

An important gathering

We love the house and loved everything both inside and outside the house on the property. The golf cart was extremely useful. We loved that there were bicycle helmets for all of the bicycles available. We loved that there was every beach toy imaginable to use on the beach. We love that there were beach chairs available for all sizes. We love the amenities inside the home that would include all bedrooms having their own bathrooms. We love being able to sit outside around a fire pit and do s’mores. We loved the outside deck. We also loved the sunroom that was turned into an outdoor dining room as we were all able to sit there and enjoy a birthday of one of the family members. We hope to return soon.

Wonderful multi-generation vacation

Ten of us stayed comfortably in this beautiful home. No one lacked for anything as the hosts have anticipated your every wish - from bikes to coolers to beach towels to enough dinnerware to outfit an army! The location provided easy access to a small playground perfect for our grandsons and a pleasant deck area for afternoon play. So very happy I found this home for our first three generation family vacation - it will be very hard to find anything that will come close in the future.

Nice Privacy but not a “Beach House”

Misleading title, master bathroom transition was broken and caused two toe injuries, key rack is at shoulder height and repeatedly hit my shoulder on it, deck has a green film and needs cleaned, master bath sink right side is clogged. Everything else was accurate.

Sibling Reunion

The house has a great setup with 4 BR’s each with an en-suite bath. Plenty of seating in both living & dining rooms. Well equipped kitchen, even had several spices. The back deck was a wonderful place to gather! The location was awesome, we really enjoyed the multiple walking and bike paths. We would definitely book again.

Wedding Weekend

My family & I had a wonderful wedding weekend on Amelia Island at the house. The layout was perfect, and everyone had their own bathroom. There was plenty of table seating inside in the dining room and outside on the porch. The living room was spacious for our family Jeopardy game. It could use some updates, but it was clean and homey. The best was the location. We had other family members staying at the Omni so it was an easy walk to see them. We would definitely stay here again.

Christmas Vacation

Our stay was fabulous. We hosted our family here for Christmas. Very spacious and had everything we could possibly need and more! They even had Christmas decor set up which was a nice touch! The golf cart was great and had bikes for all ages. Will rent here again!

Family and friends celebration

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were celebrating a birthday with family and friends and had a surprise engagement while we were there! There were so many gathering spaces that allowed us to celebrate both special occasions. Great location and beautiful home

A group of seven of us came in for a five night stay. We were pleasantly surprised with the area of where the house was as it was assessable to everything. We appreciated having a golf cart to go to the beach for some walks. The neighborhood is extremely safe and quiet. The owner of the home was exceptional in her response time. She was very communicative from the time of giving us the gate pass until the time we left. We had one minor issue that needed to be looked at and somebody was out there immediately. Highly recommend.

Our family of 8 was impressed by all of the "extras" provided in this home - everything from laundry detergent to a golf cart and bikes. The home is lovely and we truly felt "pampered". We would definitely stay there again when on Amelia Island.

Incredible House

I booked this location last year as Father of the Bride for my daughter’s wedding week. My family arrived three days prior and then all of the Bridesmaids stayed in the house with us for four nights as the host home. It easily accommodated all 10 people with excellent sleeping quarters, four full bathrooms and no problems with hot showers. There is a massive screen porch to eat outside and not worry about the mosquitoes biting, and early mornings were enjoyable on the back deck with coffee and breakfast. Very short walk to the beach down the trail that runs along side of the Omni Amelia Inn. Plenty of bikes (10-15) of various sizes, golf cart, and plenty of beach chairs and games like Spikeball were located in the garage. Lots of ample parking for 4+ cars. We put our suburban in the garage, and F-150, Explorer, and one guest’s RAV4 in the driveway with no problem. We bought an enclosed trailer for all the wedding event supplies from Atlanta and the 6x12 trailer hooked to the F-150 easily fit in the driveway for unloading and loading, but I later moved the trailer down to the overflow parking for the week down near Sea Dunes tennis courts at south end of the Plantation so neighbors wouldn’t be upset. I would gladly stay here again at anytime and have no complaints or issues. Excellent host and excellent experience. The wedding week was stressful as the Father of the Bride so to have these accommodations be so pleasant and stress free was a huge relief.

Very enjoyable stay and great details and communication from Owner/Property manager

My Aunt and Uncle, my son and daughter and her husband, and my wife and I stayed for four nights. The Owner, or property manager, provided great details on every aspect of the home and area. Only thing we didn't figure out was hot to get the coffee maker to work. Yet there was a back-up option for that as well. Really enjoyed the lay out of the home and privacy that each room had. Great place to stay for our trip!

Amazing House with Everything You Need!

It was a very special Thanksgiving week at 6 Green Winged Teal Road! It was the first time that the seven of us (our sons & their wives) gathered for a vacation – just us! The house was an amazing space to spend this precious time together! Everyone had their own bedroom & bathroom. We cooked amazing meals together and lingered over dinner on the candlelit porch. We spent two evenings around the fire on the deck. We chilled on the couch – watching sports and completing a 1000-piece puzzle. We played many games – board games, beach games, and pickle ball several times at Drummond Park. We took many walks together – including a long walk on Boneyard beach on Talbot Island. The golf cart and bikes were so handy to have to get to the beach and explore the area. This house had everything that we could have possibly needed - especially the well stocked kitchen. We were amazed!

Proposal

We love Amelia Island and we come up often. My son decided to proposal to his beautiful girlfriend here in our happy place. This is by far, the best VRBO property we have stayed in to date. We didn’t want for anything. It’s a beautiful place and very comfortable. We had seven adults and it was really nice for each to have their own bathroom. We would definitely stay here again.
