2nd Time’s Still Charming

I love this property and I love Angela--the access to the Fairgrounds, Butler, downtown and more is unbeatable--plus the location allows you to walk to the original Cafe Patachou and other yummy eateries in the historic Meridian/Kessler neighborhood. Incredible safe, secure and supportive--will be back (again!)

Shared bathroom

I read the listing through but somehow missed the last line stating that the bathroom is shared. Windows cannot be opened and my bed was really low to the ground. Not a fan of colored sheets in a rental, but it was clean and it worked. There was toothpaste in the bathroom sink and the bathroom door didn’t latch well. The hostess was friendly and responsive. They make it feel like a safe place with the fence, security system and gate being locked at night.

Cute and safe

I stayed for a night while visiting my kid at Butler-the location is very convenient. I felt safe and the whole property is immaculately clean. The information given is thorough and accurate and instructions are easy to follow. I love that the property is women-only and would stay here again when traveling alone. My one and only criticism would be for lack of a proper mirror in my bedroom to do my makeup since the bathroom is shared, but i feel like there must be a reason behind that because they thought of literally everything else. Really charming place overall!

Lovely, enchanting artsy decor, welcoming, Angie’s communication throughout was helpful. I appreciated the spiritual supportive atmosphere. The only thing missing were a few other people. I didn’t see anyone else in my two night stay.

Perfect for the lone traveler

I stayed in The Solitude Room for two nights while traveling through Indianapolis on my own. It is a very clean, comfortable, quiet, and restorative place. I was surprised the first night that the staff go home and I was literally the only person in the entire mansion until another guest arrived late that night. But there is a security system and the neighborhood seemed safe. The staff were only a text away and were very responsive. I would definitely recommend this place.

As a female traveling alone, I typically look for safety and cleanliness and comfort. Got all of that and more! This stay reminded me of an extremely nice European hostel mixed with an American bed & breakfast. Safe, clean, quiet, interesting, host on her game, etc. It was personable and yet I didn't feel invaded. Quiet but I didn't feel alone. The common areas were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was available for guests. Water bottle refill was a great add. At night, it was peaceful and I felt safe and comfortable. The lack of any public screens provided in the house, felt peaceful. Loved the small assortment of snacks provided & coffee maker & fridge in the room. Loved this stay!

Lovely and quaint

I stayed one night in the Solitude room and it was just lovely! I love the decor of the room and the entire house. Cleanliness was also top notch! I appreciated the amenities provided - snacks, coffee, tea, treats. My only “complaint” was my room was quite warm. I’m sure glad I had a pair of shorts and a t-shirt because that’s all I was comfortable wearing. But there was a fan, which kept me comfortable. I only really noticed the room temp when I’d go out to the cafe or bathroom, and then back into the room. Overall, an excellent property that’s kept very nicely and is very well-managed!

Quick get away to visit my college student

The property is clean and well maintained. The owner was prompt and responsive. I was a little uncomfortable having the entire house to myself. I also arrived after dark and this was a bit intimidating. So I would recommend staying with friends or co-workers. The space is very conducive to that.

Best Choice for Butler Mom/Sister/Auntie Visit

Angie and the VIP team were AMAZING! Great communication: thorough, thoughtful, attentive and responsive. Room was terrific and the accoutrements of the space (coffee, towels, snacks, gift journal, fresh fruit, etc.) were really tremendous. I felt very safe in the mini-mansion—and I was the only VRBO guest over the weekend so I was able to scope out all of the rooms and each of them are well appointed and comfortable. As a Colorado girl, even though it was -5 in Indy, I may have turned my thermostat down in my room had I had one—but I just adjusted my Jammie and bedding set up for two great night sleeps! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend this VRBO if you have athletes at Butler. Take them to dinner, watch the sport, go to a movie or event, and let them sleep in on Sunday. Fantastic visit with my kid partially precipitated by a great (and very reasonable) housing situation. Thank you again!

Cozy, quiet, and clean

I really enjoyed my room at the VIP Center. It smelled clean as soon as I walked in and was tastefully decorated. The snacks and welcome packet were a really nice touch. I felt very comfortable and safe during my stay and would recommend this place to any traveling women passing through.

I'll definitely be back!

The check in process was easy and well communicated. The building is a beautiful mansion that has been updated. Everything was very clean and every detail was thought of. The room was very comfortable and I enjoyed having a mini fridge/freezer for my snacks. There's a desk and Internet for working. The downstairs dining room was really nice and comfortable. Don't hesitate to stay here... it's lovely. The building is very secure as well with lots of parking in the back, very well lit and an alarm system. It's a great space for any business woman traveling to Indianapolis and the price was very reasonable. The host was a 10/10!

Tranquil Stay

I absolutely loved the VIP Center and have already booked another future stay to return again! The entire establishment is styled with beauty and grace, making a stay away from home feel special. Great stay

I stayed here for 5 nights in the solitude room and loved it. The private parking in the back made my stay so much more convenient and safe. The house is usually very quiet, especially at night. The staff members always made sure my needs were accommodated. The room was clean and I had everything I needed. I would definitely come back here.

Very nice

I was in the area for a friend's wedding and spent the weekend here. The whole house is decorated in a way that gives it a fun, girly, cozy vibe. I enjoyed sitting in the common area and watching hummingbirds through the window. The staff leave plenty of goodies to enjoy. The shampoo and body wash in the shower smelled amazing and the water pressure was perfect. I'm not sure how it is during the week but over the weekend it was very quiet; the only other people I saw there were staff in the common area on Saturday and some people setting up for a baby shower in the event space. I would definitely come back if I was in the Indy area again.
