Our Newest Galveston Getaway!
We're regulars to Galveston & our stay was amazing. Very nice condo. 1203 is on the west side & has a view of the beach & the RV park next door, which was not an issue at all! There is 24 hr security at the entrance & the guards are very friendly and helpful.
There are 2 buildings surrounding a very nice courtyard w/a very clean pool & 2-3 hot tubs. Plenty of seating. There is a boardwalk to the private beach with a security gate. This complex is at the end of the Seawall (probably 300 yards away) & you are literally on the beach, not across the street from it.
The condo itself was very nice & perfect for a couple, family of 4 or even 6. Queen bed in the master, built-in bunk beds which are big enough to hold a couple in each one, & there's also a sleeper.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook, but please remember to bring your own spices. In all the other homes/condos we have rented, they had salt pepper & other non-perishables. That being said, it's definitely not a complaint, just more of a heads up to bring your own.
There's no washer & dryer in the condo, but there are some pay units near the elevator on the 2nd floor. Bathroom was nice and clean; plenty of water pressure.
Not a lot of space to store your clothing, but that was definitely a non-issue as well. The TV in the master was a little small and the sound was a little hard to hear. Mattress in the master was very firm but my back loved it.
All being said, we'll be back & I give it 9.5/10. :-)
